(This just reminds me of a health drug I saw in a museum once that apparently contained both radiation and asbestos, and was advertised as promoting "long life". Inhaling chlorine gas is not a good thing.)

These were all pretty neat! Though the hayfever one you linked to near the end is the most intriguing to me. Not only is it unclear if that's a male or a female (clothing suggests female, though), the ad seems to have left out (or lost through age) the product it's actually for. What exactly are you going to try to cure it with, sir/madam?

It's a 3-part ad for the "carbolic smoke ball." The woman experiences "instant relief". I like the ones where people are practically having a mystical experience after taking the medicine.

In the old days people were more feminine and ate more butter so they had more wet sneezes no doubt. " Ha ish" and " ha chhhhh" were the normal. That's why I love watching old movies and stuff. People's sneezes have become far too aggressive these days!!!
