How Many Sneezes Counts as a "Fit"?

I've been wondering what constitutes as a "fit" of sneezes to other people. Like, I personally sneeze in groups of 3 or 4, so like a small fit in my mind is like 6 or 7. But other people have mentioned to me that it's a lot. What do you guys think? How many sneezes count as a fit?

I'd go by about exactly the same numbers you've suggested, but I also think it's common for people to think of 4 as a fit. I'd guess it's because 4 is one past a triple, since that's a pretty common and well-recognized sneezing pattern As long as people aren't using "fit" to describe anything less than 4 (which is false advertizing and a horrible tease!) I'd be open to different uses.

I guess I'd count 4 as a small fit, but it doesn't feel like a proper fit to me unless there are at least 5 sneezes in a row fairly close together.

My personal scale for this goes: single - double - triple - small fit (4-5) - fit (over 5).

Glad to see Im not far off! I feel like my sense of what is normal is skewwed; growing up, it was routine of me to sneeze minimum of 5 or 6 times whenever I sneezed. My mom's the same way, we're weird.

I don't like the idea of a sneezing fit being classified as a set number of sneezes. I think maybe a minimum of 3 or 4, but everyone is different. Some people hardly ever sneeze, while others already sneeze 3 to 4 times in a row on a regular basis. I think it really depends on who is sneezing.

I typically sneeze 3 or 4 times, so I would say anything 5+ is a fit, but it also depends on who is sneezing.

I count above groups of 3. I usually sneeze one time or two, so if sneezes happen more than 2 times I say that’s fit.

Hm I would say 4. I feel like that's the point where it crosses the line from average to desperate

I’d call anything from 4-10 a multiple and over 10 a fit, but that’s just my opinion.

Definitely no less than 5 sneezes, in my opinion. The time between the sneezy explosions should be no longer than maybe 10 seconds to be considered as a sneezing fit (as for me).

At least 5 sneezes, 10 or more might deserve its own category. There are other things to consider, particularly how quickly the sneezes come,

I think obviously it varies from person to person but for me it’d be anything over 5 sneezes? I think? 

anything under 5 is normal for me day to day 😂
