Does chhinkni lose its potency after being opened for a while?

Because I feel like it does. When I first started using chhinkni for the very first time a couple years ago, I remember it definitely made me have some great fits (though, unfortunately, not any of those amazing minutes-long fits that a lot of youtubers seem to get).

But nowadays, I don’t seem to get ANY sneezes from it... but it does make inducing easier. 

I’m wondering if it’s because the vial I have now has been opened for some time and it’s lost its potency. Has anyone else had chhinkni become less effective for them if they’ve had the vial opened for a while?

(And, yes, I know the obvious way to test this would be to open up a fresh vial lol I just... haven’t yet).

Not that I've noticed, at least personally. I have an open vial that I've been using very slowly for the last few years. I don't use it very often. How often are you using yours? Could it be that your body is growing accustomed to it?

I've been using the same vial for about four years now and only use it sparingly. Haven't noticed any differences. I second Murphy, you might just be developing a tolerance.

it's definitely different for me after over five years. my boyfriend also tried some of mine (five years old) and also some fresh stuff and the difference was extremely noticeable apparently.

Fresh vials definitely work better for me. I actually just had to buy some more because the only vial I could find was super old and dried out quite a bit and didn't work anywhere near as well. The new ones I've gotten have worked much better for me

yes, they expire and lose potency after about 2 years.

edit: i should note since they aren't sealed very well to begin with, it won't matter if you open a closed one that is equally old. you would have to get a fresh one.

   Yes. I find they do. I was using stuff I'd had since 2014. I bought a new five-pack three weeks ago.

My sneezing partner and I settled down to give it a shot. Usually she struggles to get two out. This time she started almost immediately and got out six. I had a sniff just in one nostril and began to sneeze before I had got the vial capped.

 

So yes, fresh stuff is definitely a bonus.

Interesting! Well maybe I’ll have to buy myself some new vials. 

That said... where’s the best place to buy chhinkni? The site I ordered it from a couple years ago is kind of buggy, so I don’t know if it’s even still actually active anymore. 

I generally prefer to order from within the U.S., but if I have to import, I will.

I think it does. I bought a batch online that I swear is stale!  It made me sneeze once and then it did nothing 😢 I’m so jealous of everyone who gets monster fits from it
