HoneyBunny Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Okay, sooo... I finally gave in to my weird obsession and wrote a BTS thing đ    Jimin notices the stylistâs perfume right away. Itâs light and flowery, and he actually kind of likes the scent - only if it werenât so strong. Heâs been in the makeup chair less than five minutes and itâs already giving him a headache.  The stylist gets to work on his hair, straightening and brushing and hair-spraying, making it look just the right kind of disheveled - almost like it was when he first got out of bed that morning, but more carefully refined.  By the time she is done with his hair, Jimin can feel his eyes start to itch from the strong scent of her perfume. He doesnât usually get allergies - pollen doesnât bother him, and neither does pet dander - but perfume is one of his few sensitivities. And from past experience he can confidently say that when he does get exposed to his allergens, it doesnât rain, it pours ⊠ He blinks a few times, trying to relieve the itch without using his hands, as he doesnât want to interrupt the makeup artistâs work by moving around too much. But itâs no use - his eyes wonât stop burning and tearing up, and now he starts feeling an all-too-familiar tickle in his nose as well.  Jimin tries to hold it off best as he can, breathing deeply and pressing his tongue to the roof of his mouth, and tries to think of anything but the overwhelming urge to sneeze. He actually manages to hold back for a few minutes, blinking back allergic tears (which he is sure the makeup artist notices but is too polite to say anything about) and willing away the buzzing itch deep inside his sinuses.  But when the stylist starts to work on covering the dark circles under his eyes (with their busy schedules, none of the members get as much sleep as they should), his breath catches on an inhale, and he quickly pulls back from her hand and turns away in his chair.  âhihâTSHhh! Ahh, excuse me.â He sneezes off to the side and claps a hand over his mouth just a split second too late.  The stylist blesses him quietly, and he settles back in the chair, allowing himself one restrained, quiet sniffle. She brings her hands back to his face once more, expertly applying foundation to his cheeks. With her leaning in so close to him, he can smell her perfume even more strongly than before, and the mucous membranes inside his nose feel like theyâre on fire.  Before he even knows whatâs happening, Jimin bats away the stylistâs hand as gently as possible and pitches forward into his hand with a resounding sneeze again.  âtschhâehh! Iâm so sorry,â he apologizes, feeling himself blush. He is starting to feel self-conscious about the display he is putting on. The other members are always so professional and in-control, and here he is, barely able to sit still for a few minutes to have his makeup put on, reduced to an itchy, sniffling mess, completely at the mercy of his body. Jimin thinks of the photoshoot that he is being prepared for and shudders internally. Itâs going to be a hell of a lot of work for the post-production staff, with him being all red-nosed and puffy-eyed. (That is assuming the photographer will be able to take any good pictures of him at all - he has a sneaking suspicion that now that heâs already started sneezing he wonât be able to stop for even a quick click of the camera.)  The girl gets back to work on his foundation, but as soon as the powder brush touches his face, his nose starts to tickle again. Heâs able to hold it off for a bit, breathing carefully through his mouth, but the burning sensation is making his nose run - badly. He sniffles once, twice, but it doesnât do much to stem the steady flow of liquid. On the counter right in front of him sits a box of tissues, nice and inviting, but he doesnât dare take one because he doesnât want to rub the foundation off his nose and ruin the stylistâs work.  But soon after, his determination to be as professional and not-itchy, not-sneezy, not-allergic as possible crumbles when the tickle flares up again. Jimin holds up an index finger to warn the girl and cups his hands around his mouth and nose.  âhehâttSHh! âkschu!â His nose is running like a leaky tap now, and he keeps one hand covering the lower half of his face as he reaches for the box of tissues in front of him with the other. He really really doesnât want to blow his nose in front of the stylist, but itâs not as if he has much of a choice now. Folding the tissue in half, he blows as softly as possible, cringing at the sound. When he takes the tissue away, he is horrified to find it looking almost orange from the foundation that has rubbed off his nose. But the damage is already done, and he has already embarrassed himself enough, so he blows again, quietly.  But the sensation of congestion shifting inside his nose only irritates it again, and he has no choice but to direct another set of breathy sneezes into his tissue.  âhhâitsshhu! hhâkâshiu! hh⊠hh-hehâtshh! Oh gosh, so sorry, I donât know whatâs gotten into me. Someone must be thinking of me!â Jimin tries to laugh it off, but heâs too embarrassed for it to sound entirely convincing.  The girl blesses him without making another comment, for which Jimin is eternally grateful. He dabs at his nose one last time with the crumpled tissue and puts it in his pocket, to be used again later - which he is sure it will. The makeup artist lifts her powder brush to his face once more, ready to re-do the bit of foundation that Jimin has rubbed off with his tissue, and Jimin bites his teeth together, bracing himself for the tickly impact. He almost lets out a relieved sigh when the brush makes contact with his sensitive nose and doesnât trigger another sneeze immediately. What he wouldnât give for the fit to be finally over ⊠but at least, by now he is too stuffed up to be able to smell the offending perfume any more. Thatâs got to be something, right? Jimin hopes and prays that the rest of the photoshoot goes off without a hitch - both literally and metaphorically.
