Elle Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 So I need to vent somewhere because I'm finally starting Doctor Who with the 10th doctor and the FIRST episode has the doctor collapsing and feverish and omg I just can't. Also I have a lot of David Tennant feelings so seeing him like this is just omg right in the hurt/comfort feels.
Fuzzy&Warm Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Well I officially know which episode I'm gonna start watching for getting into Doctor Who thanks
Joal 555 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Although David Tennant was absolutely brilliant in the role (and probably my favourite doctor of the new era), I would urge you to start with the 9th doctor (Christopher Ecclestone, who was also superb), so that you get the complete experience of the rebooted series since its revival in 2005.

Was it the "Christmas Invasion" one??
Heathcliff Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 (edited) I think my favourite modern Doctor is Peter Capaldi. But Dr Who is interesting because it is SO episodic, there are great episodes (and shit episodes) in every series. Do watch from the start, from Christopher Ecclestone's series- or if you don't want to, watch The Empty Child- because it's spine-chillingly good. Edited July 28, 2019 by Heathcliff

I'll have to go back and watch it once I've finished Ten's run. (My current Tennant obsession will let me do nothing less, whoops)

I'm going to be watching out of order like a heathen I'm afraid but I do want to watch the 9th Doctor next.
