Streetwise-looking young woman blowing her nose

I saw a woman in her early 20s on a couple of occasions. She would wear a black leather jacket, quite a short skirt, with plenty of make-up; generally looking quite with it and streetwise. But she was sniffing repeatedly, and eventually got out some tissues and have her nose some explosive blows. Suddenly she looked so vulnerable; and the whole persona had changed. There was a sort of tension between how she looked, or wanted to look, and the fact she clearly had a cold and needed to eject lots of snot very publicly. I saw this on two occasions.
