Justasneezygirl
My nose has been tickling and I have been sniffing a lot today. I keep feeling like I have to sneeze, and have had 2 come out. Both happened as singles while I was sitting at my computer desk and were similar type sneezes. I have been trying not to be too loud lately with my sneezing, without stifling as that feels more satisfying to me. Both times I felt the tickle on my nose intensify and I opened my mouth and my eyes squinted/watered. I almost felt frozen for a few seconds with my nostrils flaring - not quite a hitch, but pretty close. I was busy using my computer so I turned my head to the left and sneezed both times on my forearm a few inches from my nose, “het-chooo”. There was almost a pause between the syllables and a smooth transition that had a softness and higher pitch voice to it. Both times I felt the spray from my sneeze on my forearm and felt really satisfied. There was about 6 hours between sneezes and I keep feeling a slight tickle in my nose. Earlier today I was on the phone with my father in law. He has a really great sneeze (one of my favorite male sneezers) and seasonal allergies. There is usually not much notice if you are not observing him in person - in person, he will use a napkin or handkerchief. His sneezes are very quiet for a male and I really like the tone and sound. He was talking to me on the phone and suddenly paused and I heard “TChooo, excuse me.” And I said “bless you” expecting him to continue on as he usually does when talking, which he did. Sometimes he sneezes multiples like that, but not today - very controlled, short and sweet. It was a nice surprise! 😊 Link to comment
bingochamp7
My eyes also water when the tickle is intense. I’m happy you were able to get some relief and I appreciate the mention of spray in a sneeze obs. Thanks for sharing! Link to comment
