Chhinkni tips, anyone?

I’ve had Chhinkni powder for a handful of years now and have never used it until today.
As a side note, I brought up using it to my partner for them to use, and they agreed to try it sometime, but I wanted to try it first to see if it worked on me.
Now I have seasonal spring allergies and never had natural sneeze fits as a result; I end up inducing a fit at my convenience. I’d say I’m a really good inducer, so I’ve never felt the need to try Chhinkni.

So I tried it today and it didn’t make me sneeze. Has anyone else had this result? Or is Chhinkni supposed to make you sneeze 100% and I’m not using enough of it at one time?
I have a sensory issue with snuffing things (part of why I’ve never tried it), so maybe I used too little, but I tried a little pinch in both nostrils and nothing.
My symptoms as follows: itchy burning sensation in both nostrils, eyes watering a little, made my nose run, no sneezing. I couldn’t even tickle my nose with my usual inducing tool to eek out a sneeze.
Then I tried a bigger pinch and snuffed it up one nostril only and the same result (above) happened.
Now my sinuses are clear (they were clear beforehand) but now I smell the menthol in the powder.

Maybe my nose is non reactive to Chhinkni which is fascinating yet frustrating. Maybe I didn’t use enough. Maybe it was first try jitters.

Do you have any Chhinkni tips or have you experienced something similar? Specifically, how much is a pea-sized amount?

I will try again in a few days, but if it turns out it doesn’t work, I am still a good inducer.

I’ve heard it loses its potency over time. If you have had it for a long time, that could be the problem. Good luck though!

It still smells extremely strong though. It’s been kept in a dry place this whole time.

Some residual symptoms I noticed. I tried using it before bed and initially my sinuses were clear but throughout the night I had trouble sleeping because my nose was stuffy and it almost hurt to breathe. Idk if that is from the Chhinkni or my seasonal allergies. My nostrils kept alternating from clear to stuffy and it was a bit painful and annoying.

There are oils in it which seem to dissipate. First thing I thought as well, same as RB. May need to try a fresh batch.

it will never stop smelling strong, i don't think. some of mine is eight years old and still smells just as strong, but it has lost efficacy. after like 2 or 3 years acquiring new stuff is the play

What about an unopened vial that is still like 5 years old? The vial I tried snuffing has been opened before.

Today, I've had sinus problems the whole day. Irritating sinus pressure, a slightly stuffy nose, despite being able to breathe relatively well. Is this from the powder? I haven't had any sinus issues in weeks. And I regulary take my allergy medicine.

The irritation is mostly in my left nasal passage which is where I snuffed most of the powder. My nose has just felt blocked and swollen the whole day. I also have a bit of a bloody nose when I try and blow out any congestion. Is this from the Chhinkni powder?

I had a conversation with a close friend who is also a fetishist and after I explained my symptoms after using Chhinkni, she didn't have a similar experience and suggested that I might be allergic to Chhinkni powder. How ironic, allergic to sneezing powder?!

I’ve used chhinkni many many times for content, and your reaction described above is my aftermath for days after use.  That is, aside from a bloody nose!

Maybe you’re ‘allergic’ to it as well?
My partner used it for the first time and they didn’t have any of my reaction symptoms. They sneezed like crazy for like 5 minutes and was basically fine afterward.
