Stuck sneeze cold (friend)

A girl I know once picked me up to go for burgers. Sitting in the front seat with her driving we weren’t looking at each other much yet. At some point I glanced over and it looked like she was about to sneeze - I didn’t say anything thinking she would just sneeze soon. Nothing happened - but as I kept glancing over she just had the pre-sneeze expression stuck on her face. Eyes squinted, mouth slightly open, nose scrunched up, eyebrows furrowed. I asked if she needed to sneeze. She said she’s had to sneeze all day but hadn’t been able to. When she gets sick apparently she just constantly feels the need to sneeze without getting to sneeze. She sounded congested and spoke breathily all night like she was always ready for a sneeze. We ate burgers and she held that expression pretty much the whole time. We drove back to my house with her complaining that she really needed to sneeze but couldn’t. Her breath actually started hitching a few times but she lost it each time. Once we got back, I asked if she tried pepper or perfume or anything and she hadn’t tried pepper - so I offered. She followed me to the kitchen where I passed her the pepper. She opened it, put her nose near the lid, and inhaled deeply. Her breath started hitching and she put the pepper down. This was the closest she’d gotten to sneezing - her eyes were closed, mouth open, head tilted back, breath catching. 

Hih-Hiiiihhh-hihhuh….huh CHOOO!! huhCHOO CHOO 

She frantically grabbed for paper towel off the roll, but I got there quicker and passed her some pieces. 

HuhhCHOOOO!! ihh..uhh…huhCHOOO ihCHOOhuhxchooOO

hihhh…unggg…hihchoOOO CHOOO hiiuhhhCHOOO!!

 

She blew her nose, which resulted in another:

hihCHOO hih…uhh.. uhCHOOOO!

 

She said while rubbing her nose with paper towel “Oh my god that really worked, I can’t believe I never thought of pepper before”. We hung out for a little while longer and she kept the pepper container using it to induce another couple sneezes as the night kept going.

That's awesome, I've tried it so many times and never been able to get pepper to make me sneeze
