Whiff of Perfume (Self Obs)

Today my nose got assaulted by an unexpected heavy perfume! 
 

It was my first day back in the office after a week off and I was catching up with a coworker that got back from travelling abroad. She gifted me a magnet from where she was (I love a good magnet souvenir 😂) and a small sampler vial of perfume. She raved on about how lovely of a perfume it is, and how everyone wears it where she went, so naturally I open the vial out of curiosity and appreciation! 
 

Normally perfumes and sprays don’t bother me too much, but when I brought the little perfume dipped stick to my nose it’s like the intense smell flooded all my senses. Resisting to rub a growing itch out of my nose, I told her it was a nice smelling perfume (which is true) and she continued talking about her trip. 
 

At first I thought the initial itch from the perfume would die down… but as she kept talking I could feel my nostrils tickling and flaring and an almost vibrating buzzing sensation building in my nose. 
 

Those that know me know I don’t like to sneeze in front of people 😅 and if I do, I’m a pretty good stifler. But out of no where an open first wet sneeze unexpectedly escaped my control 🙈. I managed to turn in my desk away from my co worker and sneezed two more times, one let out into my elbow and the last one stifled.

Needless to say I was already blushing and red from the sneezes…. But my co worker also blessed me which makes me even more embarrassed 🙈
