Raven Insight
When it comes to announcing sneezes which do you prefer? I’ve realized I like ‘I need to sneeze’ much more than just a general announcement. Perhaps because it feels more desperate for lack of a better word. Like something that must happen and cannot to stopped or controlled. how does everyone else feel? What do you like? Link to comment
EveP
I agree with you. "I'm going to sneeze" sounds so definite, while "I need to sneeze" brings anticipation (at least to me). Link to comment

But I also like "I think I'm gonna sneeze", because of the thrill of anticipation. ^^ And comments that implies that they're about to sneeze without flat out saying so, like "my nose is so itchy/tickly". 🥵 Link to comment
ItchyNostrils
My brain turns to mush with either… so I guess that’s no preference? 😅 Link to comment
TheCakeIsAlive
It depends a bit on context, but for me, the finality of "I'm going to sneeze" does more for me than "I need to sneeze" in a general context. Now, of course, in a swh situation, the second phrase has the greater appeal for me... (don't know why that's "of course" but it made sense in my brain xD) Link to comment
NoV
I think a lot depends on the situation that it is said in, but if I had to choose one I think it would be 'I have to sneeze' because of the implied inevitability of it. However, just to throw a spanner in the works, I am a big fan of 'I need to sneeze', because I feel this conveys an even greater urgency Link to comment
Guest
I like need better myself. Once saw a woman say "I'm about to sneeze" which would have been perfect if it weren't a false start. Link to comment
Sariasnz
I prefer “i need to sneeze” , but both make me melt regardless!! I realized my partner says this a lot and every time it follows with a sneezing fit. Which makes me think that he knows that feeling when he is about to have a sneeze fit rather than just a random x1 sneeze . I love it 😍 Link to comment
Trynasneeze
I prefer I need to sneeze, whereas I believe if it was me talking I would say going to Link to comment
Joal 555
I pretty much like all the options: I need to sneeze I'm going to sneeze I want to sneeze (not as common, but hey, we want you to sneeze as well!) I feel like I'm gonna sneeze I'm about to sneeze I can feel a sneeze coming Each one is exciting in its' own right and also warns us to stay alert and focussed lol. Link to comment
SneezeAbbie
Both phrases are hot in their own rights! 😉 Link to comment
htkid1
I really don’t mind which. Talking is lush Link to comment
MysteryGirl
I also like “I need to sneeze” just a slight bit more than “I’m going to sneeze.” Like Raven already said, the difference is in the true desperation of it. I also feel as though I enjoy it because there feels like you’re more guaranteed the sneeze itself as opposed to a false start. Link to comment
Roza
"Need" is definitely the best for me, just accentuates the hopelessness👌🥰 Link to comment
prismaticpollen
Maybe this is because I love the idea of being with someone who was just enough of an exhibitionist to enjoy teasing me, but I’m partial to “I want to sneeze” and variations on that theme from characters who have the fetish themselves or who support partners with the fetish. Fairy36
I'm in the few, but I like "I'm going to sneeze" more than "need". Idk it's just that it just tells me that the person is going to sneeze. "I need to sneeze" teases me because they might still not sneeze. They might feel the tickle and the sneeze might never come. For me, it’s definitely the ”I’m going to sneeze.” Firstly, because of the implied certainty of it (”I’m going to sneeze, and that’s a fact.” vs. ”I have the need to sneeze, but I might not sneeze, after all.”); and secondly, because it sounds more like a calm warning (”I’m going to sneeze, and it’s gonna be really loud, but I’ll be calm about it, so hopefully you won’t get TOO scared by it.”). Sure, there are other contexts, where ”I need to sneeze.” is better/more fitting, such as a stuck sneeze, where the ”I’m going to sneeze.” wouldn’t even make much sense. I guess my mind is just weird . Link to comment
JustReading
Need to is fantastic anticipation and may lead to loss of control Link to comment

Mal
Either are amazing and are made 10000x better if there is hitching breaking up that very phrase, or even better, if the sneeze interrupts them before they can even finish saying it! Link to comment

ThePokeFan599
Both are incredibly entertaining to me, but of the two, I'll go with "I need to sneeze". I love "I have to sneeze" the best, but that wasn't an option. Link to comment
NotWho
Personally I prefer “I need to sneeze” because it’s more hypothetical and suggests desperation. Link to comment

That’s too funny, “I have to sneeze” is the phrase I was about to type (with an added level of frustration if the person is struggling to get the sneeze out) Link to comment
