Irritable

Josie walks into the bathroom at the restaurant for the third time that night. She rips a piece of paper towel and blows her nose with a deep gurgling sound and soaks the paper towel. 
 

She doesn’t feel good at all but she had already agreed to go to dinner with her friends Rachael and Amaya so she tried to hide her cold as much as she could. 
 

Until Amaya walks into the bathroom 

 

“You caught a cold too huh?” Amaya asks nasally. 
 

Josie stops blowing and nods

”I have it to. I told Rachael I’d go check on you but in reality I need to blow my nose so bad” Amaya says

 

Amaya rips off a piece of paper towel and puts it on her nose and blows her nose with a gurgling honk. 

“I really don’t feel good” Josie says while Amaya honked away

”Me neither. I almost debated on canceling but I sucked it up and blew my snot filled nose for a while to clear it up” she replies. 
 

Josie sniffles wetly and sneezes into the sink. Rachael walks in as she’s  blowing her nose into a paper towel. 
 

“You both have a cold” she says. 
 

They both nod and Josie drags the paper towel off her nose and looks at what she blew out. It was a very soaked paper towel. 
 

“Why didn’t y’all say something? I would’ve understood” Rachael says

 

”We didn’t want to ruin your night” Amaya says before sneezing wetly and blowing her nose with a loud honk. 
 

Rachael smiles “it wouldn’t have ruined my night. Come on let’s go home and I’ll take care of both of you” she says

An awesome start! I'd really like to read more about those girls dealing with their colds. Also, if it's something you're comfortable doing, I'd really like it if you could write down how their sneezes sound.

(In the car) “*heTSHoo* *snf* that was gross and wet. I can’t wait to get home and bury my face in some kleenex and blow my super clogged nose” Amaya says

”Same *snfffff* *he…he..hITChewww* ughh” Josie says

Rachael hands them some paper towels, “I grabbed them from the restaurant so you didn’t have to wait to blow your noses” she says. 
 

Amaya and Josie sniffle wetly and blow their very runny nose into the paper towels. 
 

“That felt so good” Josie says. 
 

Amaya ends her blow with a honk “I hate being sick” she says.

They get home and Amaya and Josie go lay on the couch

 

”*snifffffffllleeee* ugh *snf* I feel like shit” Amaya says 

Josie sniffles wetly, “me too. My nose already stuffed back up” 

Rachael comes in the room with tissues and a blanket. 
 

“Thanks luv *snifffflllee* oh lord I have to sneeze” Josie says. 
 

Rachael quickly plucks two tissues and puts them in front of Josie’s nose. 
 

“He…he..hiTSHOO..eTChoo..I need to blow my nose” Josie says. 
 

Rachael wipes Josie’s nose and replaces the tissues and puts them on her nose

”Rach I can blow my own nose” Josie says. 
 

“Just go ahead and blow. I’ll catch everything” Rachael says while tightening her grip on Josie’s nose. 
 

Josie inhales and blows her nose with a deep gurgling sound. Rachael wipes her nose and tosses the soak tissue. 
 

Amaya continues sniffling her runny nose while Josie finishes clearing her nose. She needs to blow her nose pretty bad but she didn’t want to deafen her friends with her honk. Rachael notices her friend’s wet sniffles and hands her a tissue. 
 

Amaya sniffles wetly and buries her nose into the tissues. “*hsssssssssh…hssssh hsssh hsssssh hsssh hsssssssh….hsssh hssssssh…hxxxct*” she blows her nose gurgling with a honk at the end. 
 

“That felt so good but this cold is kicking my ass. You’re lucky you don’t have one” Amaya says to Rachael. 
 

“I’ll probably end up catching it and I’ll be on that couch blowing my nose along with y’all” Rachael says  

Josie sniffles wetly, “What do you even sound like when you blow your nose?” She asks

”Messy and extremely wet and I keep blowing until there’s no more snot in my nose” Rachael replies

 

Josie sneezes wetly and grabs a tissue, “well let’s see if you catch it so you can sound like this…*hsssssssssssssh hssssh hsh hsh hsssssh* mmmm” she wipes her nose and tosses her tissues

The next morning Amaya sneezes wetly and sniffles before grabbing a couple tissues and blowing her morning congestion. Josie is still sleeping snoring loudly. Rachael walks in the bathroom sniffling and groaning. Amaya looks at Rachael

”Looks like someone caught our cold pretty bad” Amaya says. 
 

Rachael sniffles wetly and groans again. “I feel like shit especially in my face and nose” she says. 
 

“Maybe you should clear your nose in a tissue” Amaya says. 
 

Rachael sniffles wetly and plucks two tissues. “I’ll blow but close the door. I don’t want Josie hearing me blow my nose yet”She says. 
 

Amaya closes the door while Rachael puts the tissues on her nose. 
 

“*inhales deeply* hsssssssssh hssssssh…..hsssssssssssh hsssssh hssssh hsssssh…hssssssssssh..*wipes nose and sniffles* I didn’t realize how gurgling my blow would be but that felt so good” Rachael says after her gurgling blow.

Rachael sniffles wetly and wipes her nose with a fresh tissue. 
 

“That was probably the wettest blow I’ve ever heard” Amaya says

Rachael smiles, “Yeah my nose gets pretty stuffed so when I do need to blow it’s a lot. Yours is fairly wet too and so is Josie’s” she says. 

Amaya sniffles, “I mostly honk though” she says. 
 

Josie walks in the bathroom

”You caught it” Josie says while grabbing a tissue

”How’d you figure that out?” Rachael asks sarcastically

Josie folds her tissue, “I heard you blowing your nose. You sounded pretty stuffed. *hssssssssh hssssssssssh hsssssssh*” Josie says before blowing her nose with a gurgling sound.

They spent the day on the couch with their blocked nose. Josie sniffles wetly,

“we should blow our noses at the same time since we all have a cold and we haven’t blown our nose in a bit” she says.
 

Amaya and Rachael sniffle wetly and they all reach for a tissue. Josie attempts to blow but she’s so stuffed. Amaya blows her usual gurgling honk and Rachael looks at Josie 

“What was that? That was weak” she asks before blowing her own nose. 
 

“My nose is all stuffed up it won’t blow” Josie says 

Amaya finishes blowing and wipes her nose

”That felt so good” Amaya says. 
 

Josie attempts to blow her stuffed nose but the blow sounds stuffy. She ends up sneezing and blows her nose with a deep gurgling sound. She stops and holds the tissues on her nose for a bit and then continues
