Family sneezes?

After reading through some of the most viewed obs on the forum, I have been noticing quite a few written about people's mothers (seemingly excitedly/ fondly). Of course many of us can't think of anything worse than a family member's sneeze, but I'm curious if there's anyone who DOES like their family's sneezes, and if so who in your family? (no judgement)
Sorry if this is a taboo question...or maybe it's just more of a Freudian one!

This is the funniest and best way of describing this 😂 I certainly don’t find my family’s sneezes attractive—they really bother me—and I feel like this is a helpful explanation of why

No my family sneezing literally make me want to inflict serious harm upon myself because I cannot deal with it. I usually always try to leave the room

Family members sneezes are a big NOPE from me. Quite happy to hear about other peoples family members sneezing though...

yeah, my family sneezes make me extremely uncomfy. Always have. It doesn't help my mum makes a big deal whenever she sneezes. She does this thing were she makes it obvious she is about to sneeze, and then does this big happy, satisfied sigh at that end of it. If anyone else did this like a crush or partner I would problem find it hot, but I HATE it when my mum does it.

I cannot read these types of obs because it reminds me of my family’s sneezing habits that drive me crazy. My mom is a multiple sneezer and she usually comments about how it’s never just one sneeze. 🙄 I just look at my phone when this happens or change the subject.

I think this fetish generally derives from the psychological trauma of family sneezes. That’s why I’d say 98% of the members loathe family sneezes. It’d make an interesting paper for anyone brave enough 😂

But...why would it be traumatic if the fetish wasn't already wired? Or are you saying you think people hated family sneezing first and that somehow translated into sexual desire later? If so, why would other annoying things from family not do the same?

Also agree with everyone else - family sneezes are a great, big YUCK from me!

I'm not a psychologist, so this is my own fine work 😂.

As such .... I suggest it's Freudian. We've taken something traumatic, internalized it and sexualized it to cope. (Psychologists feel free to correct my citation 🤣). 

I dunno. That's my best guess.

I've been coming to this site and others for more than 20 years now. The range in what people like is vast and I always discover new things that turn them on. 

But the one commonality is how uncomfortable the vast majority is with family sneezes - especially parents. Perhaps when you're small seeing a trusted parent lose control is scary. 

I couldn't write about my own experiences. Even writing that was sort of painful. 

It's deep.

The way I've always explained it is that in any (or at least most) sentence(s) or scenario(s) you could substitute the word "sneez(ing)" with the word "naked," and it will be about the same.

"Wow, I just saw this hot chick sneeze" = "wow, I just saw this hot chick naked" 🤤

Likewise...

"I just my mom sneeze" = "I just saw my mom naked" 😱

 To answer your question. I am one of those few people who do enjoy family sneezes. I am not into male sneezes at all. But female sneezes I like. So even if it is my mom or any woman in my family, I do enjoy those sneezes. It is strange because I am not attracted to those women in any other way but their sneezes are an exception.

my parents' sneezing ruins my day lol. They're both over the top and when it happens it's like nails on a chalkboard and I have an icky feeling for a long time after. It annoys me that it has the much of an effect on me. It makes it feel weird, like now I have to find a girl who sneezes even more than them. Just such a waste. But I guess a lot of old people are like that. Living at home is simply not healthy for me. I wish I could just expunge it from my head.

Same, I feel like I'm gonna throw up or something. And my mom's the worst cause she always sneezes in multiples and they're so loud!! I can hear them from anywhere in the house! It's so stressful! It also happens multiple times a day! I'm actually pretty curious as to the thought process behind not being grossed out by it. Cause I just automatically go ew it's my mom I'm related to her gross.

Personally seeing/hearing any of my family or even my friends sneeze is always a little uncomfortable for me. Especially if they start talking about it afterwards

I think that purely by the definition of the word Fetish, a lot of people would probably agree that family sneezes are almost the polar opposite of something you like. The definition of fetish being 'a form of sexual desire', relating that to a family member, i cant see it being popular. I personally find it both repulsive and incredibly uncomfortable when family sneeze around me.
