Rude guy at restaurant obs

Today I went to a casual dine-in restaurant with my parents. While we were waiting for our food, I happened to look toward the register. The male cashier (mid-20s, about 5'6", glasses) who was taking orders let out two medium-volume but forceful sneezes while wearing his mask. They sounded something like "AH-CHSH! EH-CHSH!". It seemed like the sneezes were a little messy as he sniffed right after. After the cashier sneezed, the first customer in line (also male, 50s, a little taller than the cashier) asked him "Are you sick?" in a condescending way. The cashier replied, "It's just the temperature change." That customer angrily replied, "I certainly don't need you sneezing all over the food and utensils" to which the cashier tried to assure the customer that he wasn't. Then, the customer aggressively demanded that the male cashier leave the register and get someone else to take customer orders. As the male cashier left, he blew his nose in some napkins and sent another lady to take his place at the register. 

Everyone in the restaurant was watching the scene unfold and many of them were disgusted with the man's behavior. My parents also had some choice words about the male customer who eventually left with his takeout order. I felt really bad for the poor cashier as he must have been embarrassed.

jesus thats so rude sounds like a male Karen to me 🙄 (also sounds like a scenario i'd want to put in a sneeze fic honestly cuz embarrassment can be cute 😅)

Male Karen was exactly what I thought while it was happening. It was like a What Would You Do? (American TV program) scenario. Besides all that, his sneezes were cute.
