Sneezing in multiples more often when you're sick?

I've had a cold for the past two or three days, and I've come to the realization that I sneeze in multiples more often when I'm sick. I'm a single sneezer 99% of the time, but I can't recall very many times in the past few days that I've sneezed only once. My multiple sneezes have been anywhere between 2-8, and come over a longer period of time, like there can be anywhere between 3-20 seconds between each of my sneezes, which is super unusual for me.

Anyway, does anyone else sneeze in multiples more often when they're sick? I'm curious to hear how sneezing patterns differ with a cold versus on a normal day.

Yes normally I'll sneeze in doubles but when I have a cold I'll have multiples of 5-6 or be sneezing lots for a few minutes.

I don't sneeze very often naturally (anywhere from one or two every day to once every 2 weeks). When I have a cold, I sneeze 4-10 times and there is a small gap in between them to recover from the force.

Yes, I also sneeze in multiples if I’m sick! It’s pretty much the only time this happens to me lol.

I mean, I usually sneezes multiple times (at least two), but when I'm sick, I sneeze even more (like... i don't know, 4-10 times)

I usually only sneeze in singles or mayyybe the occasional double if it's random. Even photic sneezes usually come in singles and then I have to "reload" by looking at the light source again. Hyacinths make me feel like I have to sneeze constantly but I kinda need to touch my nose to actually coax more than a single or double out. Only times I've had multiple sneezes with zero "prompting", has been with certain colds.

Indeed, like several other people have said, I rarely sneeze in multiples, except when I'm sick. I usually sneeze fairly infrequently, though, as I'm not particularly sensitive to anything save large quantities of dust. Perhaps the constancy of the tickling/irritation caused by being sick might have something to do with this.

I don't ever sneeze in multiples, sadly (i think it's happened once or twice my entire life). HOWEVER, my current partner, previous partners, and several of my friends do sneeze in multiples + have 3-10 minute sneezy sessions when they have a cold. I live for these times with my current partner haha!

I normally sneeze in multiples of even numbers, anywhere from 2 to 8, but when I'm sick I'm actually much more likely to have singles or triples although I'll still have even multiples as well.

I normally only sneeze in singles. 

But during the sneezy/snotty part of a head cold I mostly sneeze in doubles, and sometimes triples or more

I sneeze doubles at most normally, been usually at the start of a cold I'll be able to sneeze in higher batches, usually up to about 6 or 7

I usually only sneeze singles maybe once or twice a day but lately I’ve had a bit of a cold and I tend to sneeze doubles. Maybe like 6-10 sneezes per day which isn’t thaaat much but it’s a lot for me haha
