Muted while "dealing with a sneezing fit" (M)

On a zoom call today, one of my (extremely sexy) coworkers wasn't responding when asked a question. A few seconds later, he came off mute and said, in a super stuffy voice, "Sorry, I was staying on mute because I was dealing with a sneezing fit." My jaw hit the floor. He proceeded to participate in the conversation for a few minutes, in an extremely stuffy voice, sniffling and doing small coughs and throat clears. At one point, he started coughing a little and went on mute again. He was stuffy for the rest of the call.

This is only the second time I've heard someone in real life actually use the term, "sneezing fit." And the phrase "dealing with a sneezing fit" simply floored me.
