Chhinkni newbie

So I decided to give myself a mental pep talk consisting of, "You're a grown ass woman, you can do what you want," and I purchased some chhinkni. I'm simultaneously excited and nervous to try it out. The kicker of it is going to be figuring out how much of a time frame I need to allow myself in order to try it. Does anyone have experience with how much and how long it lasts? 

Ironically, I think this may be of some help to my irritated sinuses. I've found that if I induce when I'm feeling that 'have to sneeze but can't' feeling, I actually feel a lot better for most of the day.

im not sure how long chinnkinni lasts. I don’t think it expires per say, it just gets less effective. 
 

I used chinnkinni that was 2 and a half years old recently, and I found it just as effective as it was when I first got it. I think the more you use it the more desensitized your nose gets? Idk maybe that’s just what I’ve heard but everyone reacts differently.

Yes! As an experienced Chhinkni user, dosage is something I can help with;

Take a Q-tip, dip the cotten tip into the jar so that there's a light cover on the Q-tip and insert it into one nostril. Gently sniff so that the powder transfers from the Q-tip into the nose. 

Give it a minute to do its tickly magic and enjoy 😇

Glad to hear. I might upload something too as I also feel that everyone here has been really supportive. Are we allowed to upload on the forum as like an audio file or something???

Quite honestly I have no idea. I’m currently working on how to turn an audio file into something YouTube compatible. Seems the easiest way to do things is to possibly make the video private on YouTube (or public depending on how comfortable you are) and just take a video that isn’t focused on your face if you aren’t comfortable with that. 
 

(I’ve been considering how to do this quite a bit as far as how comfortable I am with varying options)

Isn't there some sort of audio taking app that we could perhaps use and then paste onto here ??? That sounds the easiest.

You can record or upload audio files here and get a direct link to the recording without signing up for anything. The recordings are deleted in a certain amount of time (but it varies, I've had some stay up for a few years and others for a few months), so be sure to save your recordings if you don't want to lose them.

I would like to help but I feel like I’m doing it wrong too. Whenever I try I get very little effect or sneeze once after ten minutes of trying with it. Maybe I’m confused like always or maybe it just didn’t work on me

Stimuli’s suggestion is what I did and good god it definitely worked! But I’ve heard of people trying it and having little to no luck.

Right?! I have seen people comment saying it didn’t work for them or their SO and all I could think was “I swear to god, if this doesn’t work, I’m gonna be so annoyed” 😂
