Hopeful Start!

So I’ve been dating someone for a while now and I swear every time we’re together, they’ve mentioned sneezing/something adjacent to sneezing (like pollen)!!! It’s never been more than a brief mention, but still?!? The longest mention was about an allergy attack they apparently had a while back and that made me very hopeful that I might get to witness some in the near future! (I hope this is ok to put here, I’m new to posting! If it’s not supposed to be here, please tell me!)

I’m sure I’ll update if anything more happens! Got another mini conversation about their allergies when I had the windows open, but I’m so awkward about the whole thing that I’m worried about accidentally continuing that conversation too long and it being weird 🙃 so I never know how to respond!

Omg that is me as well!! Whenever the topic of sneezing is brought up I NEVER know how to respond, worried that people will catch onto what I feel about the topic of sneezing. 😅

Omggggg, they mentioned their allergies again! But still no actual sneezes 🙃 but this time it was about their dust allergies, so now I have even more potential chances!!!

Sorry didn’t mean to quote the message before lol, but you will eventually get to experience sneezes just hang in there! The anticipation part is one of the reasons why I would usually date people who I’ve already heard sneeze before.

They sneezed!!!! We were outside and I was mid sentence when I saw them pause, their eyes went a little distant, and then they ducked their head to the side and stifled a sneeze!!! I definitely got a little flustered and stumbled on my sentence, but I don’t think they noticed! 😂

Ok, I’m almost convinced they’re either one of us OR just someone the universe designed to torture me!!! I’ve genuinely never met anyone who brings up their allergies/how different things make them sneeze as much as this person! The other day, they must’ve brought it up at least 3 separate times??? I was stuck between loving it and trying not to implode 😂🙃I’ll take any advice on how to act when it comes up, because I’m already an awkward human, let alone when the topic of allergies comes up a lot! 😂😂😂 still only seen the one tiny, silent sneeze, but who knows what’ll happen as we get further into spring!!!

I'm excited for you! I think you should just go along with their conversation. If they're bringing it up I don't think it'll be weird. Keep us posted!
