PennyLane
Hello hello I thought it was about time I shared this little gem. My favorite ob. So, I’m in college, and as such I’m a part of a lot of clubs. One such club took a trip to a convention 4 hours away, and we all traveled on a bus together. I was sitting on the bus with my then boyfriend, T, when something happened that was threatening to give me an anxiety attack. It was like 9pm, so the whole bus was pitch black against the loud voices as people around us rose from their seats to try and address the situation, all while the bus kept driving. All the noise and commotion was just a bit too much for me. T tried to cover my ears, tried holing me tight, tried talking me through it- nothing worked. I was struggling to keep it together. Thank goodness the emergency was handled promptly and everyone on the bus was ok, but even after everyone had settled back into their seats, I was still trying to calm down. Poor T, bless his heart, was looking for anything to distract me long enough to calm down. I had the window seat, and was facing fully out the window when I heard from beside me… “Hhhhhhh….” He’s not. He wouldn’t. “Hihhhhihhh….hehhh??” He would. In the reflection of the window, I could see T using a rolled up napkin from dinner to secretly induce his right nostril. His eyes were vacant and focused while he twirled the paper around in his nose. All I could do was sit there helplessly while his chest rose and fell in uneven gasps. “HHhhhHHhh…HIH!! MMPK-chu!” Everyone in the seats around us were either sleeping or talking softly, so T has no choice but to stifle. All he could manage were half stifles though, rocking forward in the seat next to me with every explosion. For an hour he induced beside me, sneezing and sneezing while we rode through the towns. “mmpkshhhk!....hhhhhh…hihh! ngxxxxxxxxtooo!” My anxiety had long melted away, replaced by the warm throbbing of ,y affections towards him, and how far he was willing to go to make sure I’m alright. Arriving at the school at nearly midnight, T exited the bus a sniffling mess, while I was a whole other mess entirely. Link to comment
