People Finding Out

I just remembered a story from back in high school, my friends and I were sitting on the floor in the hallway eating lunch like we always did when out of no where one of them turns to me and says either “you have a weird fetish” or “do you have a weird fetish?” I didn’t hear him fully so I’m not sure what he actually said. I was of course vary taken aback but played it cool and brushed it off with a “haha no, you?” And that was the last I ever heard of it. I have no idea how he would have found out anyway or if he was just deciding to make strange conversation for no reason (which would be like him) but boy was that a weird experience and too close for comfort.

anyway have any of you had any similar experiences where someone found out who wasn’t supposed to? I’d love to hear about it below!

When I lived at home and the whole family shared a computer, my sister found out by checking my internet history (I always cleared it, except apparently one time... :dead: ) and stalked the forum for a while until she lost interest. She was like 12 at the time, and probably just thought it was a funny thing. A few years later she randomly brought it up, like "so why do you like sneezing anyway?" and I got absolutely FURIOUS and told her NEVER to bring it up ever again, and I think she got a little scared by my (over)reaction so she never did.

As far as I know. 😱

I was reading a story when my husband came up behind me without me noticing and asked "Why do they spell out all the sneezes like that?" I'm sure I looked super guilty, I definitely felt caught doing something wrong, and said that he would have to ask the person who wrote the story. I read and write for a living, and usually he doesn't look at what I'm reading, figuring I'm just working. But after that he's done little things like announcing his sneezes, rubbed his nose against my shoulder when it's been tickly and described how the tickle in his nose feels. He has never done that before, so I suspect that he suspects something.

This is actually really sweet. 😍 If he does suspect something - maybe he saw more than just the spellings, or just figured it out from your reaction - that is a very discreet and sweet way to let you know he's fine with it. If he never did those things before, it seems likely to be brought on by it, and it doesn't have that mocking nature it would have if he just thought it was weird/funny.
