Sneezing When Hungry

I was just watching an episode of the Netflix show, "The Home Edit" (Episode 8, around 32:40) which is like a home organization show, and while organizing someone's pantry, one of the women sneezes and follows it up by saying "do you know that I sneeze when I'm hungry, guys?" She goes on to insist that no one believes her about this, but it's a real thing and whenever she's super hungry she starts sneezing. 

Beyond being happy to unexpectedly see a real sneeze on Netflix, I had never heard of hunger induced sneezing before! Does this ring a bell to anyone?

I can't understand the correlation between hunger and sneezing  but hey, I'll never say no to more sneezes.

I don't understand the connection between the two either. When a sneeze occurs, it's usually when something teases the nasal nerves. The stomach is much lower, the fact that it is empty should not produce a tickle in the nose. We can sometimes sneeze by ingesting certain foods such as dark chocolate, soda or mustard, but it is their passage in the mouth that tickles the nasal nerves, not their arrival in the stomach. 

Frankly, I have no idea what can cause these sneezes, but if anyone finds the answer, I'm interested.
