Caught a cold

As should be obvious from the title and tags, I caught a cold. I'm normally already a sneezy person, with multiple allergies, and with a cold is no exception. I almost always sneeze in doubles and although I have a mental block, I've gotten to where it is almost non-existent if no one can see me. So cue lots and lots of sneezing while with online friends watching movies or gaming. What's best for me, is I'm really into caretaking and blessings and I've been able to get a lot more of that than I normally would. On with a few of the moments that have stuck out to me lately...

I was getting ready to watch a show with a couple of my online friends when I felt my nose tickle. This was one of those times I didn't have a lot of warning and I barely had time to flip the mic on my headset up so it wouldn't be as loud. "H'TSHHH heh eh'TSHHUuu!" Normally one of them is really good about blessing me, but he didn't this time. If no one blesses me I'll usually say 'excuse me' but he had said 'bless me' the day before after a sneeze so I decided to say that. He immediately responded with, "Oh, it was you. Bless you! I have a bunch of tabs open [he had other streamers playing in the background] so I was scrolling through them trying to see who was sneezing." I thought it was really sweet that he was taking the time to see who was sneezing so he could bless them.

Last night I was watching a couple movies with a group online. I had told them earlier that if I wasn't there, sorry, I haven't been feeling too good. I was able to be there and during the movie I tried my best to muffle coughs and sometimes I'd manage to stifle one sneeze but usually let the second out. Multiple people in the group would bless me. Sometimes I wouldn't hear the first blessing through the sound of me sneezing again, but then I'd hear "bless you again" after the second sneeze. At the end I had a bunch of people telling me "feel better" and it definitely gave me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I've also been gaming quite a bit and today I was gaming with someone streaming from the movie group. They asked me 'How are you feeling today? It was you sneezing on voice chat last night right?' (They were one of the people blessing me, but with a large group it can be hard to tell who is talking, or apparently sneezing). I'm so glad they couldn't see me because I was blushing so much since he was talking about this while he was live. I said, yeah and that I wasn't feeling great but doing okay. Later I was gaming with them on stream and could feel my nose itch. As usual I had to scramble to get my mic up in time. I sneezed and then gave a few hitching breaths before sneezing again into a used tissue I had snatched off my desk. He blessed me and I thanked him. This happened a few times tonight. After his stream we continued playing for a bit and had some other friends join us, several from the movie group. I sneezed a few times with them around as well and usually had at least a couple bless me. At the end some told me to feel better again. 

Now I'm curled up in bed with my blanket. My nostrils are pink and nose won't quit running. Head hurts and sinuses are super tender. I'm really congested and throat is sore. I'm using mostly tissues and have various bunches of used ones around the place (on my bed, on the desk, side table next to the couch) and need a fresh one soon if I don't want my nose dripping every where🤧

Wow, I really enjoy reading this kind of little Self-obs, thank you for sharing it with us. I have never had the opportunity to live such an experience when I play online with other people. Except once, I heard someone sneeze, but I didn't really know the person and I didn't dare bless them. I sincerely sympathize with your last paragraph, the image you give seems so tender, so adorable. Bless you for all your sneezing. Always take good care of yourself, I wish you a speedy recovery !

Damn... sorry that sounds so miserable. At least your friends are bless you as long as that doesn't embarrass you haha.
