Nocturnal Posted March 2, 2022 Share Posted March 2, 2022 This is one of those “journey of a cold” fics that’s been done here a few times. Shameless, (mostly) plotless contagion and mess. Enjoy! Part 1 It was going to be a long bus ride. "uh..uhHhhehht 'tsschhu!!" Gregory sneezed harshly into his balled up fist. His glasses slid down the bridge of his nose from the force, they rested precariously now just at the top, right above his reddened nostrils. He was sick. And sick on a public bus no less, where his stop wouldn't come for another 30-35 minutes if he was lucky. He sat all the way in the back, at least a few rows behind the nearest person. He felt like it was the "polite" thing to do. "uuhTtscscchtt!!" A desperate sneeze exploded from his dripping nose, spraying watery snot all over his fist. His tissue was nothing more than a tiny wet ball, making absolutely no difference as a second, more urgent sneeze came ripping out. "UH 'hhhrttschuu!!" He felt the spray soak his hand again and groaned, leaning his throbbing head back against the seat. He folded the soggy tissue four different ways trying to find a dry side before giving up. He sniffled, heavy and wet. He winced at the sound, knowing it would be a challenge to hide his cold at work. Gregory was an attractive guy in his mid 20's. Studious, but in a cute way, maybe a bit nerdy. His medium length bronze hair was cut stylishly, and was shorter underneath the longer tresses. His square frames complimented his features. His nose wiggled, itching and burning like it had been all morning. He couldn't believe he caught a cold. It couldn't be at any worse a time. The briefing he was going to was extremely important for his career, there was no way to get out of the long presentations and meetings he'd be sitting in for the entire day. Gregory had a secret that he never told anybody. He had a fetish... for sneezing. He always loved the thought of women catching colds. He dreamt about pert noses and uncovered sneezes. He drooled over the moment of contagion as the sickness spreads amongst them… Yup Gregory was a freak. Even worse, he was feeling extremely bad today... and his normal moral compass seemed broken. For the whole bus ride, Gregory was sneezing into his crumpled tissues, at least raising an elbow to shield some of the spray. But, who would know...? Who would know if Gregory just... sneezed openly here... in the back of the bus? He looked in front of him at the two empty rows, and then past that to the third row. There was a woman in her early 30’s with long, black hair sitting on the left. Across the walkway sat a younger woman with shorter, brown hair. One was preoccupied with her earphones in and the other was buried in a book. Gregory's excitement grew when he realized how easy it would be to spread his cold to one of them, maybe even both of them.. Link to comment

This sickness had just begun and he knew he was contagious. He shrugged off the feelings of guilt and gave into the dirtyness of it all. He wiped at his runny nose with his fingers, feeling the viscous snot and imagining the viruses that lingered there, ones that he could share with whoever he wanted, all he had to do was sneeze... His nose was so sensitive already. Maybe it just needed a little help... he brought his knuckles up to his face and gave his tender nostrils a rub. It was.. working.. "Hheh...*snnf* ah..ahh" He hitched and gasped, the sneeze was right there... His features portrayed a beautiful struggle, his brows were drawn together sharply but his mouth was hanging open almost delicately, just waiting.. His lips looked soft, as he breathed out in quick, light puffs. His nostrils suddenly flared, and he inhaled sharply. Leaving his hand holding the tissue firmly in his lap, Gregory sneezed messily out in front of him. "Uh' tscheww!! uh..hah'IssSChHhhuhh!!" The second sneeze doubled him over and sent snot running out of both nostrils and dripping down his face. He quickly brought the tissue up to his nose, just in case anyone turned around at the sound of his sneezes. No one did. They were too caught up to even notice anything out of place. He breathed a sight of relief, his lips still shining with wetness from his sneezes. His nose dripped and he sniffled to keep it from running down his face. He didn't have long to think, because the need to sneeze came suddenly out of nowhere. His mouth hung open expectantly, his eyebrows knitted with concentration, before finally his chest expanded and he exploded with a completed unrestrained and messy- "IhhtttTt'SSTCHuh!!" The light reflected from the bus windows illuminated millions of droplets as they sprayed from his nose and mouth. "Hahhgt'chCHTSsctttieww!!” Gregory pitched forward again, tilting his head just slightly so he could sneeze all over the attractive brunette ahead of him. He relished in the feeling of sticky snot blast from his nose and opened his eyes to watch the thick spray from his sneeze settle onto the seats in front of him. A mixture of snot and cold viruses swirled around the young brunette and settled delicately onto her neck and shoulders. She didn’t seem to notice. Gregory sniffled wetly and suppressed a groan. He watched as the wetness from his sneeze drifted lazily around the bus, admiring the beauty of the sparkling, contagious droplets as they awaited their chance to infect a new host. Link to comment
