Sick co worker (f)

One of my co-workers has been down with a cold this week.

She is a short, fairly fit lady in her early 20s, blonde hair, small nose.

On Tuesday she came to work with a bunch of throat lozenges and things, which she kept taking throughout, complaining occasionally that she had a sore throat. That was about it.

Then yesterday, when she came in I noticed she was sniffling a bit, which kept up the whole day. As with the day before she kept eating throat lozenges. She also sneezed a few times. Each time she would sneeze into her elbow, sounded like "Iitschiew!"

She would sniffle a bit more wetly after each sneeze and a few times she wiped her nose on the palm of her hand.

After one sneeze I said bless you and asked if she was getting sick. She said she was, had had a sore throat for a couple days and today woken up sniffly and a bit stuffy which was really annoying.

Today she came in and had brought a box of tissues with her. Nice soft aloe Vera ones that people buy when they have colds. And she definitely has a cold today. Her nose has got that pink 'tissue burn' look and she sounds super stuffed up. She's still sniffling a lot but also blowing her nose like every 20 minutes. She also keeps sneezing, except now they are mostly doubles today. Mostly into her elbow still except occasionally when she has a tissue ready to go. "EKSHIEWW!! EKSHIEWW!!" they sound like.

I've blessed her a few times, and she keeps saying sorry for sneezing/being sick.

Lovely observation. What were her blows like?

Just a bit wet sounding, tries to get them over quickly. No honking or anything

She was in again on Friday, still with her box of tissues. Less sneezing (still a few big ones) but was still very congested, and a lot of wet nose blowing.

She must have rested up over the weekend as she came back on Monday with just a bit of a niggly cough.

However as of yesterday a couple of the other ladies at work seemed like they may be coming down with the same thing, so I guess we'll see
