nova_592
Over the past couple days my housemate has been having some of the worst allergies she’s ever had. About a week ago, I noticed that she was sneezing a bit more than usual. Usually she only sneezes once or twice, but now she was starting to sneeze regularly around 4-8 times within a couple minutes. Her sneezes are also already pretty loud and forceful, but they were getting even louder and more desperate that I could here them rooms away behind closed doors. On many occasions the past few days I’ve heard her in the dead of night (like around 1-2am) start a sneezing fit, and leave her room to sneeze in the living room most likely so she wouldn’t wake up her roommate. Yesterday, she texted me that she was having the worst allergies she’s ever had. For context, her and I are a part of the same student organization. I’m one of the directors, so members are supposed to inform us if they’ll be absent for a meeting. Anyway, she texted me and another one of the directors that she probably wasn’t going to make it to the meeting last night, and sent a photo of her face with her eyes practically swollen shut. I’d known she was having bad allergies lately but not to that extent. She also said it got significantly worse from just walking outside for the 15 minutes it took to walk to our college campus. We told her it was totally ok to skip the meeting last night and to take some allergy meds and just knock the fuck out. When we saw her again last night luckily the swelling in her eyes had gone down a bit, and she told us she was feeling not as miserable. She’s still sneezing a lot, but I’m hoping for her sake her allergies start to die down a bit. Link to comment
Mr Sneezy
I take it she's unaware of your interest? Link to comment

Thank god I don’t actually room with her because I’d definitely be more paranoid about her figuring it out😅 Link to comment
oOMariusOo
You're lucky to have him as a roommate, the only roommate I've had in my life, I only heard him sneeze once in a year. Link to comment
