Caught a cold at work

Hey everyone! I’ve been enjoying this site for years but never posted, so here we go ☺️

I (R) was at my work, sitting next to a friend (P) before I started. I saw a pre-sneeze express on her face. And she suddenly she turned to the side and sneezed a double “haaaEEISHOOoo… haEEEEIIISHOOooo!” It was quite vocal and seems to take her by surprise. 
R: “Bless you!!” 
P: “How embarrassing, that was SO loud! Sorry” 

She kept sniffling while we continued talking and a few minutes later the same pre-sneeze expression appeared on her face. She turned to one side, covered her nose, and sneezed a soft stifle “hmmmp-chu” I blessed her again. She thanked me and kept sniffling. A few minutes later she sneezed another identical stifle and said “ugh, I must be getting a cold”.

We were together for most of that day. She continued to sneeze every 10-15 minutes or so for the rest of the afternoon, they were almost all single soft stifles-  it was like she was having a very slow continuous sneezing fit, like she was keeping her sneezing at bay with regular stifles instead of letting her cold take hold. She turned to the side to sneeze mostly, but they weren’t covered well every time and she sneezed a few times right beside me🤧

Either way, a couple days later I began sniffing myself, and before I knew it today I was sneezing every ten minutes too! It’s just as I imagined from watching my friend, it’s a soft tickle in my nose that doesn’t ever really go away, and every so often it gets sensitive enough to make me sneeze 🤧 I’m slightly sniffly, but I can keep the sneezes quiet or stifled, and I’m not needing to blow my nose very often. Hopefully it stays like this!

My sneezes are super varied and it’s kinda hard to spell your own sneeze😅 but my YouTube is Bless Me! So feel free to go and listen for yourself🤧

Do you always use the back of your hand to cover sneezes? I normally only see people using their palms.

That tickling that never really goes away is something I'm all too familiar with, some days I get it for no obvious reason, it's just there lurking and causing false starts and occasionally suddenly building enough to make me sneeze, usually at an inconvenient time. Will definitely check out your channel
