Nose Blowing Observations

Just a quick couple of observations. I know I mainly comment on here but thought I'd try posting a couple of observations. 

As some of you may know, I'm a truck driver and drive all over the UK 🇬🇧. I'm down in London at the moment and was driving near to Heathrow Airport when I spotted a lady in what maybe was in her late 30's at a guess. She had her hair in a pony tail and looked to be going to work. She pulled a blue and white handkerchief out of her pocket and gave her nose a couple of blows.

The second observation was a about an hour later and again I eas just driving my truck when I noticed a young lady, perhaps late 20's walking along the pavement. She looked at the person walking towards her and after he had passed she pulled out a tissue. It looked quite fresh as it looked like a large one and she folded it round her nose and gave a blow.

What did their blows sound like? Or if you couldn't hear it did they look like they were blowing hard?

I couldn't hear the blows but I think the second one looked like a snotty one the way she was holding the tissue, but the first look short hard blows

Nice observations. Especially seeing a woman using a handkerchief - not always that common

Thankyou. It's definitely not always that common. I mostly see woman using tissues when I'm on my travels

I see a few, but one thing I've noticed is that the majority of women I see using hankies seem to just use men's hankies these days

I wonder why they seem to be just using mens handkerchiefs these days, unless they're bigger and the designs of them are just either white or colours mainly

I always thought that the lace on ladies handkerchiefs made them look more for show than an actual practical use.

I would agree, the laces ones look very dainty and not like something that would handle a cold. Do you ever use handkerchiefs sneeze-aholic? And if so, do you use men's or ladies?

I'd say it's probably to do with the size. And yeah maybe some people are more into the classic/plain designs rather than bright colours and florals..

Oh I would imagine that Sneeze-aholic would use big red/blue almost bandanna type handkerchiefs when she needs one
