i'm just trying to increase my rank so i can access other parts of this forum haha. sadly, i don't have anything interesting to post at the moment

I'm afraid it doesn't work like that! When our moderators and admins go through someone's post for the validation process to member, we do look at the post content as well as the count. You may have noticed that not all areas count towards rank as well.  There's no rush! Enjoy the journey! Do have a look around the Read before Posting section if you'd like a little bit more info about the process.

Thank you, I will! I don't go on this site enough so I guess the validation process will be a long one 😅
