OnlyADream
I haven't been sick since January 2020, for, uh, obvious reasons. But now I definitely have a cold in my nose. Yesterday I thought I might be allergic to something, because I don't have a sore throat or headache, which I'd usually expect from a cold, but today I've got that sore/tender feeling inside my nose that only happens when you're sick. One side of my nose is stuffed up (it switches every so often, but mostly the left) and I've been sneezing a little more often. Maybe once every hour or two? But mostly my nose has been absolutely streaming. I can blow my nose and five seconds later it's dripped down to my lip again. Luckily the culture room at the lab was empty except for me when I was using it, because as soon as I'd start the centrifuge again I'd take off my gloves, pull down my mask, blow my nose on a Kim Wipe, ethanol spray my hands, new gloves. Probably six times in an hour. I don't actually feel that bad, but I wish it could have waited a week because (no joke) I'm working on my take-home final in Viral Replication. The professor does like to say we can think about the dance of viral and human co-evolution the next time we're sick... Link to comment
Trynasneeze
Sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon. I just recently had a cold that included two days of a super streaming nose. Hope you have a lot of tissues/hankies handy! Link to comment
