Sneezing on the Phone

Quick little ob-

I operate the phones for a restaurant and just got off of a sneezy phone call. A woman called to make a reservation for her daughter and after she asked if we had availability I heard a “cshhnnx”! I couldn’t tell if it was a cough so I didn’t say anything but then we kept talking and in the middle of a sentence the woman paused and and gasped before letting out a “cshooo!!” I was so distracted by processing the sneeze and trying to keep doing my job, that I couldn’t even squeeze out a “bless you”, I just pretended I didn’t hear it because the lady also didn’t even acknowledge the sneezes.
 

Anyway not the most exciting story, but the scenario of sneezes interrupting a phone call is certainly one I think about a lot and it was fun to be on the receiving end with a stranger!
