Sneeze patterns changing over time?

For most of my childhood, I almost always sneezed exactly twice in a row, several times each day. Interestingly, as I've gotten older, I've started sneezing mostly in threes. However, it isn't uncommon for me to randomly sneeze just once each hour or so, and I usually have a longer fit of around five sneezes at some point. I'm not sure what triggers this. My allergies have definitely gotten worse, so maybe that has something to do with it. But it seems like I don't have a true sneeze pattern anymore and can rarely predict how many times I will sneeze.

I've noticed that my mom has gone through something similar, so I wonder if everyone's sneezes change with age. I always remember her sneezing only once or twice in a row when I was young, but now that she is older, she seems to have more prolonged fits (to my extreme chagrin). 

Has anyone else experienced this?

I definitely sneeze more now than when I was younger, but that doesn't say a lot because I don't sneeze that often unless I'm sick. However, when I was really young I always sneezed twice in a row too. Nowadays, if it's random sneezes, it's usually singles. Even with my super intense photic reflex, I usually only sneeze once, possibly twice, and then I have to look away and then look back at the light source to sneeze again.

I always sneezed 5 times in a row when I was younger.  Now that I am older, I sneeze 4 times, and build up to a 5th but can never get it out and it has always bothered me because I don't remember when it changed!  I think I sneeze less often now I'm older too, but I didn't ever have a pattern at any point that I'm aware of.

I’m not entirely sure why but I ask have found that I sneeze more often now than as a little kid. Especially with the phonic stuff it was always three and people would always make awkward remarks about it. Now for that it really depends, 1-4 probably. The biggest aspect I’ve realized is how easy it is to  induce. Personally I love the feeling and I started doing it before I even knew about the fetish. Recently I’ve tried more and I’ve had a lot more success so I think that might be a good measure of it.
