First cold in 2 years

It's been two long years since I was sick. I lived in a nice little bubble in a small town but I recently moved to a large city.

 

Naturally my exposure points are way more heading into work instead of working from home. I am under no illusion though, I know exactly where ground zero was. Was hanging out with some friends and their pre-schoolers.

 

Anyway it started off terrible. Sore throat, runny nose, sinus headache.

 

Progressing to a worse throat, way more runny nose and some infrequent sneezing. All singles.

 

By Day 3 I was sneezing in fits of 3 pushing well over 30 on the day.

 

Today I was not sneezy all day long but this evening has been multiple fits of 2 or more.

 

I'm not a great inducer but I was able sneeze induce 4 in a row within 30 seconds.

 

So it's been a strong uptake in sneezing lately and with the Pollen counts I'm sure my threshold to trigger a sneeze is quite low while sick.

 

Overall I'm just whiny because it's been forever since I was sick and I didn't even last a month in the city lol
