Buying your hankies?

How do you usually buy your handkerchiefs? Online (anonymous way), or go to a store?  I personally prefer to always go to a store and feel that shame of interacting with the store employee while I choose and pay for my hankies.

I've mostly purchased mine online as the ones in the stores round where I live are smaller ones around 16" square. The majority of mine are 18" to 20" inch square

I've only bought mine in store. Not sure why it's shameful to interact with the employees?

Nowadays almost totally on-line, as it's rare to find new interesting / beautiful ones in shops - it's probably 10+ years since I was last able to indulge browsing, and buying from, an in-store display very much like @Hankysneeze 's profile pic. However, there are still places like antique fairs (and charity shops) to find some gorgeous ones: an idea written into the 'Embroidered Handkerchief Distraction - The Fiction' story. French eBay for fabulous vintage lace ones; US eBay for large appliqued ones, although import costs etc now appear to be getting trickier
