Old obs I remembered (f)

I was thinking about something recently that made me remember this obs. 

This is from my last year of college. The girl i was dating caught a cold. However the way she handled it was quite amusing. She totally just got on with life kind of ignoring the fact that she was sick, while also getting really annoyed with her symptoms. 

Her roommate had caught it a few days ago and had proceeded to spend 4 days on the couch, pyjamas, blankets, sneezy, snotty nose, going through tissue after tissue. Then just as she was getting over it the girl I was dating had caught it. 

The first two days she just kept going with life like nothing was any different. She said she had a sore throat, and boy was she sneezy. This girl was sneezing "HIHCHOO!!" big but quick sneezes into her first like every ten minutes for two days. Aside from the fact that she would sniffle wetly every few minutes as well she didn't really seem that sick. But as time wore on she would groan and grumble about how annoying all the sneezes were. Occasionally she would go and blow her nose on some toilet paper but otherwise she just acted like nothing was up. 

The third day she definitely seemed to have a much more runny nose although she was sneezing less. Very sniffly and going to blow her nose several times, especially after she did sneeze. As evening drew in she grabbed a spare toilet roll from the bathroom and took it to bed with us so she could just casually blow her nose as needed. 

The next day she had off. She had this blue/grey bordered mens handkerchief and stayed in bed all day sneezing and blowing her nose. 

I had to go someplace (can't remember where) that day but when I came over the next she was magically better and I noticed the handkerchief hanging on her clothes airer with her other laundry.

Great obs, thanks for sharing!  Were here blows hard and loud or the soft and quiet kind?  I noticed that when her cold started, she seemed to be a bit embarrassed to blow her nose in front of you (always going to blow her nose on TP), but as her cold got worse, she would just bring a roll of TP next to her and blow her nose in front of you.  Was she embarrassed to blow her nose in front of you?  DId you every blow your nose in front of her during her cold?

I don't think she was too embarrassed. I think it was just the frequency of nose blowing required. Eventually she just got too lazy to get up when she needed a tissue
