Trynasneeze Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 One of my wife's friends came to stay with us last week for a few days while she was in town. Unfortunately (for her) a couple days into her stay she began to come down with a cold. It was the 4th day of her stay and that morning she sounded a little under the weather. She was sniffling a little and starting to sound a bit congested. She said she'd had a sore throat for the last day or two and was now getting a cold. I had work that day but when I got home in the evening she definitely was getting sick. She now had quite a regular sniffle and would sneeze "HMMSHOO!!" every half hour or so. The following day was the last day of her stay. I heard her go and blow her nose a couple times in the bathroom that morning before getting up. We were supposed to all go out to do some stuff that day but she said she wasn't really feeling up for it and sorry to be a bummer and hopefully she didn't give us her cold. We still all hung out that day but at home. She was sneezing a bit, not too much, coughing occasionally, and constantly sniffling. She sounded stuffed up too and would wipe her nose with her sleeve here and there. She eventually asked if we had any tissues as her nose had gotten super runny. We didn't so she just had to make do with a roll of toilet paper. She blew her nose quite a few times after that, but kind of turned away and apologised each time
Hankyrick Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Aaaaawwww, hope she gets better soon. Did you not offer her a handkerchief?
