Forum Account Pruning (crucial to multiple account holders)

In the interests of efficient forum management, the Staff acknowledge it is necessary to remove inactive accounts from the database from time to time. The Staff have resolved to conduct a pruning of outdated or unnecessary accounts. This exercise will be completed within the next four weeks and any account which has not been logged into for more than a year will be deleted. Note that this does not mean you will lose your forum account if you have not posted from it, only if it has been completely dormant for at least 12 months.

As part of the pruning process we will also be eliminating multiple accounts. If you have at any point set up another account for any reason, please notify an admin/moderator asap to let them know of the account that you intend to use (the other(s) will be disposed of). If we are not notified within four weeks then ALL accounts belonging to multiple account holders will be deleted. If you aren't sure if you registered multiple times please pm/email one of the staff. Please note that once an account has been deleted, it is not possible to re-instate it and any benefits derived from post count etc. will be lost. To reiterate, it is therefore crucial that any holders of multiple accounts contact us to avoid losing any capabilities they have have earned during their time here. It should be stressed that this is *not* a banning and if a multiple account holder loses his or her accounts they will be able to re-register an account and start again from scratch.
