Observations and Stories Changes!

Very recently (the real reason for the board being closed at about 2000 BST today) we implemented a change to the Observations and Stories section. Simply that forum is now split into separate areas for real (Observations) and fictional (Stories) content. The root forum is still postable, but is intended for discussion around this subject area, for example looking for a co-author or editor, or simply sharing tips, ideas and requests.

Over the next few weeks the staff and I will be sorting through the pages and pages of threads that currently reside in the Observations sub-forum in order to make this work. Please have patience during this labour intensive period. Many threads may well seem misplaced for a while, and chances are they will be. If you find something on the top page that's blatently out of place in a few days time, however, please report that using the report feature, and we will take care of it, as we will have hoped to have moved on deeper into the list by then.

The other little snippet for now is that it has been suggested by allabs that we provide a place specifically for reviews of commercially available material, now that Clips4Sale has taken off and there is more on the market than ever before. The staff and I are in consultation at the moment about how best to implement this.
