If you go to this website, type in the search term handkerchief, the pictures are probably on page 3 (they seem to come up in random order each time you visit the site) -- a woman in a blue sweater, blowing her nose with a purple-edged handkerchief in 1 picture, and holding the handkerchief to her forehead in another. Clicking the picture enlarges it.

Edit: Ok, so you can't actually use the direct links until you've been to the site, made the search and seen all (3) pages of results. At least you can use them to save more easily.

Edit2: Updated the links, so they point to the version without the annoying watermark in the middle (PicturePress).

You still need to go to the site, search for handkerchief, see the 3 pages (no need to click on the actual pictures, just visit the pages) and then you can use the links.

That's quite interesting, I had no idea a person could get past the watermarks. And you did a thorough job and found a lot more pic's than I did!

1. Sometimes it's possible to find the "original" un-watermarked version, though it's not always as easy as in this case.

2. I "found" only the pics that came after the search you mentioned.

No problem. This new site I found as part of my ongoing search for DPA photos. www.fotomarktplatz.de used to have a lot of editorial (journalistic) photos, from DPA (Deutsche Presse-Agentur) and others, but most of those seemed to have been removed to other sites.

Supposedly they are here:

but I can't find a way to do a general and comprehensive search.
