allergyboy2001
On February 9, 2008, the Wall Street Journal had a column suggesting gifts to buy for Valentine's Day. A male writer suggested gifts to buy for women, and a female writer suggested gifts to buy for men (and they commented on each other's suggestions). Here's the excerpt that matters:"[she said]:Monogrammed Handkerchiefs: It may be a throwback to a more gallant era, but every man should have a set of hankies, if not for his own use, so he can offer it to a lady in need. Six cotton cigar-rolled handkerchiefs from Brooks Brothers $60, or a set of four Irish linen handkerchiefs with his initials in a diamond pattern is $42 from monogramsinc.com.[His comment]: Is a handkerchief really romantic?" shy guy
I agree with Countless; from my point of view, no gift would be more romantic than a monogrammed set of handkerchiefs. Link to comment
