I looked, I lurked, I finally plunged

Hi! I've lurked around here for quite a while, here and on a number of other sneezing sites. I've been fascinated by sneezing since I was a kid, and as I got older I started writing stories about sneezing. When I got even older, I started writing rather racy stories about sneezing. (I hope to share some of these once I've figured my way onto the adult board.) I'm not a porn writer, but titillation is fun, and my stories usually would rate above PG, so I don't want to post them anywhere inappropriate.

Like a lot of people I've noticed, my first realization that I wasn't the only person on earth was by tripping over The Tarot of Sneezing (this was eight or nine years ago. A long time to lurk, even casually!). I think I posted a piece of a half of one story, many years ago, somewhere that I don't remember, and then chickened out. *grin* I hope I can be a little braver here, and contribute to the community.

I've never been guilty or ashamed of the fetish - I actually still have some old stories that were basically me working out the idea that everyone has triggers and that, as long as they don't hurt anyone, the thing to do is enjoy them! I'm just a very private person in general, so this is the first time I've actively spoken out (posted out?) to say, "Hey, me too! Hi!" As of right now I've never even exchanged a text message with anyone who knows about the fetish. So you could say I'm a little nervous.

I also tend to be too outspoken, too quick to return snark for snark, and too quick to offer a shoulder to cry on (when I don't know if comfort or a smack should be offered to the crier). I give fair warning, and also that I know these things about myself and try to work on them.

Also, I know nothing about the political split here, and have applied to both boards, if that matters to anyone.

I saw something that mentioned role-playing. I haven't tried that before, but I'd love to lurk briefly and see if I might be able to contribute to the fun, if anyone is willing when I can be online.
