Okay here's our solution to the editing problem:

What we're going to do is create a new user group called 'Writers'. Access to which will be applied in the same way as access to the Adult/Youth Board i.e. you don't see that you're a member of it.

This group will be able to edit any of their posts at any time, just like everyone who was an Adult/Youth board member could before. Since the reason for this group is to allow people to highlight additional parts being added to stories, then in order to gain access, a member will have to PM the staff with links to 5 of their stories with multiple parts. If they do this to our satisfaction, they become a member of the group. Although 5 is the number of stories we would like to see, we are willing to consider other scenarios (for instance if a member has written only one or two stories, but they have very large numbers of parts) on a case by case basis. Members will be allowed to use stories they have previously written among the 5 if they wish. Abuse of this priviledge will, of course, result in expulsion from the group.

PM's of such links should ideally be sent to me or George, as it's us who will have the power to add you to the group, however if you do send them to another of member of Staff they will forward them on to us .
