I think there was one case I read about where a guy blew a hole in his intestines... Link to comment

I'm not really a fan of it because the sneeze becomes silent or a little bit strange if its not done right, but to each thier own. If stifling is bad, I can only imagine that pinching your nose is just as bad if not worse. Link to comment
