Covered sneezes could mean...

Hey has anyone ever wondered if covering your sneezes increases the odds that you will sneeze again?

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but when I cover my sneezes I find myself producing more doubles/triples than if I leave them open.

One of my theories is that the materials which are tickling your nose shoot back up your nose again as they rebound off your hand. Whether this is true or not, the thought of it turns me on and makes me often prefer covered sneezes.

Interesting theory. I've heard about people who sneeze more when they stifle (and know of a few people like that myself), but this is a new idea. Hmm... yes. I like it.

Oooh, how interesting! I've found that I'm practically unable to sneeze without covering... It's almost reflexive that I cover, even when I'm alone. But given how embarrassed I get about sneezing in public, maybe it's time to start sneezing uncovered, but off to the side or something...you know, so I don't spray my germs everywhere.
