Miller, Medical Review of Reviews, Vol. 22, 1916, p.127-128:Dr. E. Harrison Griffin, in a medical article from the year 1915, is of the opinion that 75% of colds are caused by "improper use of the handkerchief" (or more precisely, inadequate use). Dr. Griffin is kind enough to tell us how to blow our noses properly with a handkerchief.Very doubtful medically, but fun to read. :-) Link to comment
