Class Sneeze (f, Story)

The bell had just rung, and everyone took their seat for the start of biology class. Today was the day to start making special presentations on their report topics, and Molly was excited about being one of the first. She had studied up on the common cold, and had a few items that she had gotten from the school nurse to help explain how a cold gets around in the body.

Mr. Smith walked into the room, toward his desk in the front of the class. A girl, sitting in the first row, said, “Good morning, Mr. Smith.” She smiled at him and overtly pushed her chest out a bit towards him. Her name was Rhonda, and she would also be making a presentation today, but she was going to talk about the cell. She was a cheerleader and a teacher’s pet when it came to Mr. Smith. She was always flirting with him and the other guys, and this annoyed Molly. While Rhonda was beautiful, she had nothing on Molly, who with her long blond hair and sparkling brown eyes, could make men’s hearts melt. She was tall and very attractive, athletic with an exquisite figure, as opposed to the shorter and fuller Rhonda. What bothered Molly was that Rhonda was using all these people rather than achieving things on her own, like Molly always did, and it frustrated Molly to see Rhonda be successful.

“Good morning, class,” Mr. Smith said to everyone as he reached his desk. He was carrying his notes and some papers, and put them down on the desk. When he turned to face the class, Rhonda reached under her desk and brought up a vase with some wildflowers in it. “Here, Mr. Smith,” she said, “Have a great day,” Mr. Smith walked over and took the vase from her, and put it on his desk. “Thanks, Rhonda,” he said smiling at her, “that’s very nice of you.” Molly started to get nervous; she was allergic to wildflowers and the last thing she needed was to have an allergy attack. No one wanted to be with Molly when she had an allergy attack, because she would unleash the most powerfully loud sneezes. Most people couldn’t imagine that she was capable of sneezing like that, and she didn’t know why she could do it. Normal tissues couldn’t hold back her powerfully loud and strong sneezes, and people were always unnerved by the explosive noise that accompanied them, even when she tried to stifle them. She decided to ignore the flowers and hope that nothing would happen.

Sitting in the next row over from Rhonda, one seat back, was Biff. He was the stereotypical jock, large and burly, and he passed a note to Rhonda. She read it, seemed to looked at Molly, read it again, and laughed quietly. She wasn’t sure the note had anything to do with her, but Molly looked herself over as best as she could and ran her fingers through her hair, just to make sure nothing was obvious wrong. Biff loved to tease her, ever since junior high.

As Mr. Smith began talking about the reading assignments from the previous night, Molly started to get a bit of the sniffles. It didn’t seem like much to worry about at the moment. When he started into a description of his expectation for the presentations that were going to be made, those sniffles grew more intense. Molly started to get concerned, and the more concerned she got, the worse it got. She felt her nose filling up; then it started to run. She pulled some tissues from her purse, and wiped her nose.

Rhonda got up and started her presentation on the cell. She used a really nice model of the cell that she had built – Molly was impressed. But she couldn’t really concentrate on what Rhonda was saying, because a small tickle started in her nose. She really didn’t want to blow her nose, because she always sounded like a trumpet when she did, and did not want to disrupt the class. She took deep sniffs, pulling the stuff from her nose to her throat. Those damn flowers were potent. Rhonda went on and on, but the presentation wasn’t bad, at least what Molly heard of it. Molly tried to will the itch away, and was successful; it stopped. Her nose was somewhat stuffy, and she had to keep sniffing regularly to keep it under control, but she felt better than she did a minute earlier.

Rhonda finished, the class applauded, and she sat back down, with her model on her desk in front of her. She had a satisfied smile on her face, but to Molly it sort of looked like a sneer. Mr. Smith came back to the front, and introduced Molly, and then went back to the side of the room to listen.

As she went up to the front of the room, she grabbed her show-and-tell items, and kept the tissue in her hand. She always did a good job at making presentations, but this time she was nervous about how it would go. Molly put her stuff down on the desk, and using it as a podium, began to talk.

“The common cold is mistakenly thought of as being one type of ailment,” she started, wheezing and stuttering slightly. The flowers were right in front of her, and she felt like they were somehow reaching out to her. “But it is-is really a-a number of-ff dif-fferent viruses with common sym-symp-toms.” Her nose was running again, and she paused to wipe it with the tissue. “There are ma-ma-many symp-toms that are-are indicative of-of-of a cold-cold, the most com-mon is,” she paused, as a massive itch exploded in her nose. It was uncontrollable; it came upon her too fast. She tried to complete the sentence, “the-the-the sneeee...” was as far as she could get, before her eyes shut, and the last word turned into a massive inhale, “eeeeeEEEEEEEHHHHHH.” Her nostrils flared open, body arched backward for the inevitable explosion. She tried to stifle it as it blasted out, while covering her mouth with her tissue. “AAAAAAHHHHHH, CHHOOOPPPP”.

The sneeze was very loud, and startled several of the new people in the class. Those who knew her expected it, but still shrunk back from the sound. She had sneezed down at the desk, and had tried to block its force, but the tissue shredded between her fingers under the pressure of her stifled sneeze and the blast hit the desktop with a powerful gust. Mr. Smith’s notes and papers were sprayed damp and blown off the desk, and her presentation material was splattered badly. She had also knocked over the vase, which caused the flowers to release more pollen into the air when they hit the desk.

The room was silent for a second or two. When Molly opened her eyes and saw what she had done, she was embarrassed. Her hands had caught much of the wetness of the sneeze, if not the force, and were slimy; the tissue was soggy and in small pieces. She wiped them on the side of her pants, for lack of anything else to do. She saw Rhonda, who was really smirking now. She turned to Biff, and said, in a soft tone but with the intent for others to hear, “What a cow. No class at all.”

Molly felt badly about what happened, and was angry at Rhonda for not even trying to understand that she had no control over this. Being in front of the class had made her nervous and self conscious to start with, but now she was even more nervous. She sniffled deeply – the itch was still there, but subsided. “A-hum, the sneeze,” she continued. “The snee-eeze is a way-way for the bo-body to get rid-rid-rid of irr-irratant-tants that-that an-an-an,” was as far as she got. The itch popped up again, at full power, and she was helpless to stop it. She started breathing bigger breaths in and out as the sneeze began to form, “an-an, an, ahhhh” This one felt like it was going to be bigger than the last. She took in a deep loud breath, “AHHHHHHHHHHH”, and her eyes shut. Her chest expanded to take in the mighty gust, and she arched back again. She realized that she had no tissue, and there was no way to stifle this one at all. She felt the power building up in side her, and it felt…exciting and warm. She thought again about holding back, and her body started tingling as her breath drew deeper and deeper. “AHHHHHHHHHH”. The sound of the huff was loud enough to cause some of the people to wince. Molly’s muscles in her chest and stomach felt tight enough to break, wanting to push out the massive breath as fast as it could. Suddenly, she unleashed the second sneeze, full power, towards the class.

“KAAACH-HHHESSSSSSSCHOOOOOOSSSSSHH”!

As the sneeze blasted out from her thin, athletic body, it felt like a great, bright explosion inside her. She grabbed hold of the edge of the counter, and she blew out as her body swung forward. Her face was tight scrunched and taut, as she pushed and forced the air out. She blew as hard as she could, not thinking about what she was doing, to sustain the bright, tingling feeling inside. When she finished the sneeze, she opened her eyes and saw that she was bent forward across the desk. She coughed twice and sniffled, and looked out at the room.

The massive gust had hit the people sitting in the first and second row hard. Rhonda, who had been sitting right in front of her, had been blasted and sprayed the hardest, with her hair blown back. Her cell model had been blown to the floor and was in pieces spread around the room. She looked totally disheveled, and she started to cry. Although Molly did not really want something like this to happen, she couldn’t help but feel somewhat satisfied that it was Rhonda who had been hit the hardest. Biff had also been blasted by the sneeze, but he wasn’t in the direct path of the storm. He was sitting there, staring forward in shock. The three other people within the blast radius had leaned back and had tried to shield themselves from the blast, with little success – their clothes and hair looked splattered and windblown.

“I’m so sorry!” Molly said to the class, meaning every word. Her nose was running, and she didn’t feel like trying to continue on. But while she was massively embarrassed by what had happened, that last sneeze felt glorious. She felt even more nervous now. Molly had some tears in her eyes, and then the itch hit her again. It seemed like the more nervous she was, the bigger the itch and the sneeze. This time would be the biggest. Her body would sneeze as hard as it could, to get rid of whatever was causing the itch, and she couldn’t stop in any more than she could stop an oncoming freight train. “Oh-oh-oh no-no,” she said waving her arms, trying to get people to move. “I-I-I’m go-go-going to sne-snee-sneeeze ag-ag-ag-AG-AH, AHH”. Mr. Smith started to walk up to her, but decided it was safer to stay out of the way.

Molly closed her eyes, and felt herself start to inhale a hurricane-like amount of air into her body. The sound was intense, and deeper than the others, “HHHRRRRRRR”. Her chest expanded, and muscles tightened again, and bright flares went off in her head as tingling warmth spread through her body. “HHHHHHHRRRRRRRRR” .

Her chest was puffed out fully, and she was bent backwards. She thought she would bust open, but she desperately kept pulling in air. One guy in the class shouted over the noise, “Hurricane Molly is going to blow the room down this time!”, and he got up and moved out of the way. “HHHHHHRRRRRRRRR.” Rhonda was trying to stand up to get out of the way, as well as several others. Biff sat there, frozen in his seat, cowering back from Molly.

The classmates swore that they could feel her inhale, pulling a massive wave of air toward her as she huffed and puffed.

She could feel the power of the sneeze that she was building. Each moment it took for it to build to its crescendo, her body strained more and more inside, developing more strength and power for the explosion. Her nostrils flared widely, providing maximum width for the oncoming windstorm. Her body was quivering, under the strain and in anticipation. And then, all at once, she unleashed the mother of all sneezes.

“HRRRRRRRRR-RRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSCCCHHHHOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSHHH”!

It was a huge, powerfully loud and strong sneeze, like nothing anyone in the classroom had ever seen or heard. When she let go of control, it was an amazing feeling. Fireworks exploded in her head and body; the warm, tingly feeling spread from her chest to her hands and feet, and back again. She let her muscles and body spasm and pushes the air out with all the force that it could, and she thrilled with the force of the push from inside. She grabbed hold of the desk again, and as she blew out her body swung forward. Her face was tight scrunched and taut, as she pushed and forced the air out.

The sneeze was impossibly long and powerful. When it started, it was loud enough to echo through the room and the hallway outside, and the teacher in the next room stopped lecturing for a moment. Everyone in the class, including Mr. Smith, backed away and tried to shield themselves.

She blew her overpowering gust across the desk, right over the rows seated in front of her. Anyone who was caught standing in the way felt the storm blast right past them, like being caught in front of some large fan. As Molly blew the air out in a mighty gust, Rhonda and Biff struggled to get clear, but were tangled up in the seats. Some of the papers left on the desks fell on the ground, and a mist blew forward across the room, coating things in its wake.

But the sneeze continued on, seemingly forever, and its power increased. Biff had the look of a frightened boy, and was frozen in place, cowering, caught in the hurricane. The blinds in the back of the room arched out of the open window when the force of the blast hit them. Even the hanging lamps began to sway backwards slightly. Molly continued to push the air out with the last “SSHHH”, and both Biff and Rhonda were knocked back a step, causing both of them to trip on the desks and fall down on next to each other.

And then it was over. Molly started panting, trying to get control over her self. She felt lightheaded, but wonderful, warm, and content. The itch was definitely gone now, so she had been successful getting rid of that. When she opened her eyes, she saw what she had done. The whole center of the class was cleared of people, except for Biff and Rhonda on the floor. Papers were strewn all over, and she could see the light reflecting off of the wet desks. The lamps and shades were still swaying. Everyone else was standing to the side, looking shocked and lowering their arms from the shielding position.

Molly was appalled. What had she done? How had she done it? She had never sneezed like that before. The nerves must have just intensified the power and loudness of her sneezes, and made her lose all control. All of a sudden, she felt like crying as she stood there. Mr. Smith shook himself out of his stupor and started to walk up to the front. “BLESS YOU, Molly,” he said loudly. “That was quite a show, but this was supposed to be a report, not a demonstration,” he said jokingly. “Perhaps you should go to the bathroom and clean up, and stop by the nurse’s office after that. We’ll clean up here, and you can try again tomorrow.” Molly left everything where it was, and walked out of the room, headed for the bathroom.

Well-written as always GL! The ladies in your tales sure know how to put on a show, lol! Glad to see you around again, BTW.

Take good care,

Nothing like a good dramatic build up and large explosive release.

I just love them.
