cuneas
As you know, I'm draw to these 'tell people your favorite whatevers' thread like stupid teenage boys to a Seltzer and Friedberg movie, so I'l have a go...A few of my favorites:CheersFrasierWhose Line Is It Anyway (mainly the U.S. version, although I also quite enjoyed the later seasons of the British one.Golden GirlsMonty Python's Flying CircusBuffy the Vampire Slayer/AngelGargoyles (I consider this the best-written of the 90s nostalgic cartoons)Justice League: The Animated SeriesReba (you know, the sitcom starring Reba McEntire? I LOVE that show!)How I Met Your Mother (the first four seasons) Link to comment
stephab13
The news.... Had to be said. Sorry.Okay, I technically speaking, don't watch TV. I'm either hideously behind on series, or watch them miles after they've come out - or miles before my country gets them. Thanks, Australia! So, the ones I watch religiously and am up-to-date with: - Glee - White CollarOnes that I watch and love dearly, but not up to date: - Supernatural - Community - House (hush, you) - The InbetweenersAnd some other favourites: - Black Books - The Mighty Boosh - The IT Crowd... And then there's my massive list of TV shows to get into. But I'm done for the year tomorrow!!! Game of Thrones, Dr Who and Once Upon A Time, here I come!!! Link to comment
March Hare
'Game of Thrones'. I am experiencing serious withdrawal.'Bones'. Hands down. It has everything that makes for a good show - badasses of BOTH sexes and various ages, brilliant humour, suspense, romance and drama. AND David Boreanaz!'White Collar'. Because it has the BEST characters of every show in the entire world if you don't count Bones and there is no sexier fictional being possible than Neal Caffrey.'The Mighty Boosh'. You just have to watch it.'QI'. Because of the Well Erudite Mr. Stephen Fry. Link to comment

Blah!?
Can't believe I never did this until now. Anyway, for the purpose of keeping the length of this list under ninety miles, I'll limit myself to not-anime. xDLet's see here... In no particular order...Doctor WhoStar Trek (ALL of them, particularly Deep Space Nine I think)Battlestar Galactica (The reimagined version, no offense to fans of the original)Once Upon A Time (Or as my friends and I call it, Onee Upon A Time. If you're gonna use the other words to cross the E, don't put it through the C too)CastleModern FamilyHappy EndingsCommunity (And who says Chevy Chase doesn't have a career anymore?)Tron: Uprising (I can't decide if this is actually a good show, or if I just like it because it's Tron)Motorcity (UNCANCEL IT YOU FOOLS)ADVENTURE TIMEFirefly (Of course)Hopefully that was long enough. Enkidom
I actually have a much longer list than I expected to have, I'll break it down into categories:Sci-Fi, fantasy and horror:The Walking Dead (though I thought season 2 did drag a little in places)Battlestar Galactica (the re-imagined version)FarscapeFireflyGame of ThronesFalling Skies wasn't bad eitherDrama:DexterThe NewsroomLaw and Order (not so much the more recent series) and Law and Order: SVULife on Mars (English version)Boardwalk Empire (basically anything with Steve Buscemi in gets my vote)Comedy:Can't believe none of the Brits have mentioned it, but Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister (it's still just as relevant and funny today as it was in the 70s and 80s, which says a lot about politics)The Daily ShowChuckBlackadderRed Dwarf (up to about series 6 or so, then it didn't so much jump the shark as belly flop straight into its mouth in my opinion)Non-Fiction:Diners, Drive ins and DivesMan vs FoodQuestion TimeThe Hotel InspectorScrapheap Challenge (until Robert Llewelyn and Lisa Rogers were replaced) Link to comment
TheCakeIsAlive
Can't believe none of the Brits have mentioned it, but Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister (it's still just as relevant and funny today as it was in the 70s and 80s, which says a lot about politics) Ooh, absolutely! The scene where they break down who reads which paper still makes me crack up every time.I can't choose, so many good series... so here goes:- Doctor Who- Game of Thrones- First 2 seasons of Torchwood- Jeeves and Wooster- Downton Abbey- All creatures great and small- The Muppet Show- Sherlock- Are you being served?- 'Allo 'Allo?- The Goodies- H2O: just add waterOkay I'll stop now. xD Link to comment
