Sophie<3 Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Hey people, so I went to the movies tonight to watch Place Beyond the Pines and I'm still thinking about it, because I found it kind of... unsatisfactory. Now if you haven't watched the movie and plan on doing so, STOP READING HERE. Spoilers.If you have watched it, please tell me how you feel about the plot. Killing off the main character after the first half of the movie seems kind of unusual to me. I mean, I wanted to see him make it out of the mess that he'd gotten himself into, if you know what I mean. And I didn't really care about the cop's life at all, and much less about the cop's son! Now... it wasn't terrible. It got interesting again with the two sons after a while, I guess. But still... I feel like the movie could have done better somehow. To me it didn't really feel complete.
