Guest nosey Posted March 12, 2004 Share Posted March 12, 2004 I work at a newspaper in which the top editor has his own plexiglass-fronted office that looks out into the open newsroom. He is a gruff, loud-mouthed yet good-looking, 50-something man -- the kind you think of as being too macho or busy for sneezing, if that makes sense. Anyway, I had never heard him sneeze and was always curious. The other day I was sitting at my desk and heard two powerful yet pleasant-sounding sneezes (HUH-CHOOOO, HUH-ISCHOOO) come from his office. I didn't look but I knew it was him. The COOLEST part was this: When he exited his office at least two minutes later, his secretary, whose desk looks in on his office, blessed him. He muttered thank you and walked away. This really appealed to my secret sneezing fascination -- that fact that he couldn't get away unnoticed. And no, I don't think his secretary is a fetishish, just really polite Link to comment
