Are you still going to watch even though Andrea died?

I hate them for the way they killed Dale! Not that I think Dale shouldn't have died, necessarily (even though I loved him), I just can't see him making a mistake like that. Going out alone in the dark, if nothing else. I'm kind of torn though because I think the zombie that killed him was badass. :P

I'm probably going to watch until the end because that's how I am with things. I sat through the last painstakingly awful episodes of Lost because I'm just that fucking dedicated. I just feel like they got rid of her because a lot of viewers hated her for some reason, and it was such a stupid way to die.

I hated that Dale probably died feeling like everyone hated him. :( And I hated that Andrea didn't really more upset about it than everyone else, because I thought they had a special bond.

I don't give a shit about Lori really, but I'm kind of pissed they didn't kill her/the baby like they did in the comic books. That shit was brutal.

I agree. I can't really see how they're going to keep the baby in the show. I mean, how the hell do you raise a baby in a zombie apocalypse. Wonder if they'll kill Beth the way they killed Lori in the comic? I don't have any ill will towards Beth or anything, but it'd be interesting.

I hated Andrea and would have been happier if she'd died several seasons ago >:|

But my personal lesbian crush is on Michonne, and I appreciated the ladyangst going on between those two. Ungh.

I know Carol bites it in the comics, and I am just holding my breath as to whether they'll kill her off in the show. I don't want it to happen. But at the same time, trying not to get too attached.

I KNOW RIGHT. Michonne is SO gorgeous. I love her skin and her lips. I didn't like Andrea either, but I have to admit, thinking about her and Michonne spending the winter together, well... it warmed the cockles of me heart, if you know what I mean. ;)

I'm curious as to whether they'll off Carol as well - if they do, I don't think it'll be like it was in the comics, esp. since the whole thing with Tyreese didn't happen (unless they plan on doing that in the future).

How do you feel about Shane? Everyone seems to have a strong opinion about him, whether they hate him or love him. ;)

This. I shipped Andrea/Michonne so fucking hard. At least it seems like Michonne will be sticking around, and it was cute how she finally started coming out of her shell in the last few episodes.

I thoroughly hated them for killing Shane.

Everyone hated him, but I loved him so much. He wasn't even a bad guy, he just got screwed over by that bitch Lori (so glad she's dead).

I mean, fair enough, Shane told Lori that Rick was dead. But, he did it to protect her, because if she knew he was alive, she would have wanted to go back for him, which could have killed her. Then she decided to get it on with Shane even though her husband had just died, and when Rick came back she just left Shane and ran back to Rick.

Poor Shane!! I think if someone did that to me, I would have gone insane slightly too.

My opinions changed on pretty much everyone at some point.

I love Daryl so fricking hard. But seriously, why are they making him and Carol fall for each other?? That really annoyed me. Even though it was cute when he found her and carried her out.

Michonne I also love.

and I'm so goddamn happy that Andrea is finally dead

Aside from Daryl, my absolute favourite has to be Herschel. He's such a badass :P

Jesus guys, I could talk about TWD all day long.

I like Glen and Maggie too, I hope they don't die.

Oh my God, that scene that was verging on porn!!! What was that all about!! there was no need for that scene to have been there at all :bleh:

But I, too, love Glenn and Maggie. I hope they actually get "married" now that they're engaged

I don't know if I'm mad at them for killing Shane - I mean, I loved Shane, but I think it kind of made sense for Rick to kill him. However - I actually agree with a lot of what Shane did! I think he was a lot better leader than Rick in a lot of ways - Rick was way too reluctant to make the hard decisions in the first two seasons, like he was still trying to be a cop, you know? Plus Shane was a way better father than Rick. Like he said, freeing Randal was more important to Rick that Carl. I seriously wanted to punch Rick in the face through a lot of season 2, haha. Not to say that I don't like Rick - I actually really like his character, even though he makes me crazy. :D

I agree that Lori was the root of the problem - not even that she slept with Shane but the way she constantly pitted Shane and Rick against eachother after Rick came back. She totally put the idea in Rick's head in that one episode where she's saying "Shane thinks I'm HIS" then she turns around and gets pissed when she finds out Rick killed him... Well, let's just say I wasn't sorry to see her go. And even though I kind of thought Shane's death was necessary to the plot, it still makes me sad because he was awesome (and sexy ;) ).

I REALLY don't want Carol and Daryl get together. I don't know why, it just seems un-right to me, LOL. Not to mention the way Daryl reacted to her hitting on him (if you could call it that?) in season 2. It's weird, when I first started watching, I actually thought Daryl was really unattractive, but now I think he's hot. :P But I thought Merle was downright ugly and now I've got a huge crush on him, so maybe it's a Dixon thing. :P

Whew, long post is LONG, but yeah, I could talk about TWD all day too! What do you guys think about Merle?

Oh jeez, this was my argument. She was only pissed that Shane was dead because that meant that she was only getting attention from one guy instead of two. She was a rubbish mother and a whore.

I think it made sense for Rick to kill Shane, but I still wish he didn't go all psycho and try to kill Rick tonguesmiley.gif

I agreed with all his decisions too, especially with Randal and also about killing all the walkers in the barn. Rick just seemed to chicken out of all the decision making in Season 2, but I'm glad he's back on it now in Season 3. I also think having Daryl as his co-leader is brilliant.

I've always loved Daryl from day 1. He's just so badass, yet so humble not to mention the sexiest thing to ever cross my tv screen

Although, he needs to ditch that poncho and get a hair cut tonguesmiley.gif

My thoughts on Merle...

He was such an ass in Season One and the first half of Season 3. He annoyed me by being The Governor's little lap-dog without even realising it. But I actually really liked him towards the middle/end of Season 3, and was actually really sad when he died, especially as he died trying to protect the others. I believe they could have made his death scene better though, I found that was a bit of a let down.

What's your take on The Governor? tonguesmiley.gif

ETA: this is my favourite scene from possibly the entire show so far. It's just beautiful, and so appropriate. Plus, the original song by Tom Waits is really good too.

What's your take on The Governor?

I actually kind of have mixed feelings about the Governor. On one hand, I think he's a total bastard and I hate him, but on the other hand, I have this grudging sort of respect for him. It sounds twisted, but the way he was able to manipulate people into following his every word is... interesting I guess? I don't want to say I admire him for it, but I'm impressed at the way he gets shit done. There's also a couple of times when I think he's really hot (which is weird because I actually don't think David Morrissey is hot at all), but when he says, "You kill or you die - or you die and you kill", well, that scene reeeaaally turns me on. XD I also like what he says about Penny - "She'd be afraid of me... but she'd still be alive." I thought that was a cool line. Generally I don't like him, but I will say, I did feel bad for him when he saw Michonne killed Penny. I'm not a parent but that still hit me pretty hard.

I really don't like him, I think he's a slimey piece of...... and deserves to die.

He does have great leadership skills, but his methods are so flawed! I mean, killing Everyone at the side of the road? Keeping walker's heads? Keeping his child after she became a walker? Trying to domesticate the walkers? The guy's a fruit cake!

I didn't feel bad for him with Penny, I think that in situations such as that, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few - i.e. he put the other people at risk in order to keep her "just incase" they found a cure. It was the same as Herschel keeping his wife and step-son in the barn, and look how delirious Herschel was! At least Herschel came to his senses, "Phillip" had no intention of that. He seemed more hell-bent on killing Rick and everyone than about Woodbury in the end.

And Andrea was such a moron for not being able to see what was going on. At least Michonne had some sense!

I didn't like The Governor :P

What I really love though, is that Andrew Lincoln and David Morrissey are both British, yet they play the role of Americans so well. Andrew Lincoln's real voice is just

Oh I agree, he was stupid to try to keep Penny 'alive', but I can kind of understand why he (and Hershel) did it. I don't agree with it, but I can understand it, if that makes sense. :P

What do you think about Dr. Jenner? I really liked that episode - Jenner was one of those people who I don't find physically attractive at all, but I find myself really attracted to his mind, haha. Maybe it was just the whole situation - the pain and desperation turned me on. blushsmiley.gif What can I say, I'm a sadist. 4.gif

Oh my, I completely forgot about Dr Jenner!! That was so long ago! I need to watch all 3 series in order again so I can keep proper track :P

I liked Dr Jenner, but that situation annoyed me a little. His intelligence was attractive, but at the same time, his complete mood revolved around "there is no hope, so I'm just going to give up and die" which got a bit whiney and annoying for me :P

I seriously need to find out my series 1 DVDs...

What did you think to Milton in series 3? Because I loved him :P

What did you think to Milton in series 3?

I love Milton too! I also totally ship him with the Governor, even though it's a totally dysfunctional/one-sided relationship. :P I thought he was kind of hot as a zombie too, haha. I also never figured out why he kept putting the tea kettle on top of his cup. uhhuh.gif

Haha, what's going on in the gif in your sig??
