laban_21
Is anyone here in the forum a math tutor? I need help in a trigonometry class that I'm taking. Link to comment
March Hare
You'd do very much better to find a tutor in your own area whom you can visit and who can explain the problems to you face to face. That's much more effective and practical, especially when it comes to trig, which would be difficult to do via PM, IM or e-mail. Link to comment
Lynne
And, you know... it's customary to pay people for providing skilled services. Link to comment
March Hare
Also definitely that. Tutoring can be a lot of work, and you'll find precious few people who know what they're about who'll provide their services for free. Link to comment
TheCakeIsAlive
I have to agree. If you need help with specific problems or with a specific method you're taught, it helps a lot if the tutor has access to the books you use. Typing out anything maths is a pain (take it from someone who is currently summarising a math-heavy subject in typing) so if you could find someone in your area who is willing to tutor you, I think you are much better off. Maybe there are some homework centres you could try? Best of luck! Link to comment
